| You wouldn't miss minor details, you would miss MAJOR details that the show never explains. Honestly the show was made just as fan service for readers of the VN, since most people in Japan actually read the Vn which it's target audience is. The show is mostly 5% explaining things, 95% fighting. meanwhile the VN is a infodump. |

| It's very difficult to calculate VN playtime for a multitude of reasons such as personal reading speed, whether you interrupt voiced lines or not and just how you time yourself in the first place. But for a very rough estimation of F/SN I've heard everything from 40 to 100 hours depending on who you ask for 100% completion. 100+ sounds somewhat weirdly timed to me though, I can't imagine it taking that long really. 60-ish would be more a reasonable estimation I reckon (~20 hrs per route). |

It won't increase it by that much though, so I'd still say between 85-100 hours for reading for me. Though people read at different speeds and things. |
