| I don't have a top ten, but the recent movie which I watched was Hotarubi no Mori e. Definitely tear-jeking. I'll recommend Kotonoha no Niwa to you too, but I haven't really watched it yet. |

| definitely anohana, angel beats and spirited away I guess, for someone to cry at an anime it has to depend on your attachment to your characters and not as much the genre of the show, or at least that's my case. for example, I cried at the death of a few of the side characters in mirai nikki and pretty much balled my eyes out at a certain episode of psycho pass. that's just me though |

| Not in any particular order: 1. Puella Magi Madoka Magica - Heartbreaking. It's definitely pulls your heart by asking you "is there any hope left for these girls?" 2. Shinsekai Yori - Despair. Kind of like Madoka, but vastly different as well. You don't know what's lurking in every corner. 3. Mawaru Penguindrum -Sacrifice. Might be confusing, but holy shit is it great. 4. Clannad: After Story - Sadness. I don't need to explain this. 5. Anohana - Touching. I don't think I need to explain this as well, but beware of drama everywhere. |
