| Loved the episode. Nice touch with the exchanging uniforms. Only thing I wished they showed was the finals, which would have been like another 3 or 4 episodes. Overall, loved the series. |

It was obvious they would win and every match was predictable except for a few. - Romance. Omg, adding it made the already cheesy show, even more cheesier. It was predictable too. For a 58 episode series, they had to throw in a badly written love triangle, lots of romance teasing and the male lead had to be oblivious as well? - Female characters. Kazumi is so badly written (see my post in episode 56 discussion) and Natsuko as well. Having them in the show made it so cringe worthy. - Opponent/rivals/antagonists. Shows like Chihayafuru and Kuroko no Basuke do this well by giving more depth to their side characters and future rivals of the main team. This show had a lot of pointless opponent characters with little or no backstory. Nevertheless, it's not too bad and I will check out the movie this weekend. This show at least emphasizes how great the modern sports anime have become. |
| This was a pretty decent soccer series for what it was worth it. I've seen better (like Giant Killing, Area no Kishi and Wild Striker) but this might stood out for the realism portrayed in most of the episodes. Didn't like the romance at all, and the female characters where boring, they felt like the managers from Daiya no Ace, though their presence (ADS) in the series was supposed to be important. |

| For me, this is the best soccer anime. I didn't feel nearly as much with any other soccer anime. But I agree that the romance subplot/female characters drag it down. It could have been an 8/10 but I'll have to give it a 7/10. I wish the manga was translated. |

| Great finale. Definitely hit harder in the feels than expected and it even makes you feel sad now that the ride has come to an end. Maybe not the very best sports anime I've seen, especially the tension during the matches could've been stronger. Still charming and with a lot of heart. |
