It is quite odd how only the anime in the top 50 gets bashed hard. You never see people bang on shows like Lamune or Nerima Daikon Brothers. It's like once you see a show score more than an 8.0 or has a lot of members you can expect lots of hate to come along with it. Also, not to start a flame war, but all the shows that are licensed (or have a very good chance to be) seem to be the ones that get banged the hardest. I've never seen someone come out and say that they hate a show because it's licensed or could become licensed, but there is definitely a connection. Oddly enough, I never see people hate on Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal. I guess it's one of the few exceptions to my rule. |

I have seen a couple of people complaining about it, especially overration-based comments. Compared to the usual shows hated on, the amount of people who've actually seen it is pretty low so that probably has something to do with the lack of flaming, the other reason being that it's actually really frickin' good. Not to mention most of the commonly-flamed shows are often overhyped and have hundreds of people claiming its the best thing ever wherever you look, which really doesn't help. |

Sadly, most of these criticisms bring along underlying/blatent insults to people who like a particular anime. Quite often seen word, "Fail". This kind of post is not a least bit helpful. | Kurogane no Linebarrels. I didn't mind the show myself, but as an addict user here, I swear all the whining about the main character nearly ruined the experience for me, if not that. Naruto. Oh please people. It's overrated, but it's not that bad. This freaking reminds me of metalheads whining about Slipknot all the time. Evangelion. Sure, it wasn't the greatest anime ever. Or at least what I watched of it. And heck I wasn't all that fond of Shinji's behavior either. But now to hear people go on and on like it's terrible and going on and and and "insult distasteful remarks about not considering Shinji masculine here* is twice as bad. Seriously. Go fap to Kamina and STFU. People hating on Strike Witches doesn't seems to be a bit here and there. And surprisingly enough Kanokon too. Despite these shows being someone of the best ecchi shows to come out there. And seriously, ecchi sucks. I don't have that much to complain about here though, because it's not THAT common. I imagine I'll hate the protagonist of School Days as well. But seriously, it can't be THAT bad. Unsurprisingly, Lucky Star's popularity attracted a few haters. I don't see how it's possible to hate something so darn cute though. Boku no OMG OH MY GOD I TOTALLY DIDN'T KNOW THIS WAS SHOTACON YAOI HENTAI Pico. So far my experience with Code Geass is no less than a 7/10. I've enjoyed the story progression. It's neither THE BEST THING EVAR!!!!111" nor is it "God this sucks". Honestly there are some things I'd like better. And Anime I've been more entertained by so far. But it doesn't such. Middle ground people. Heck even as much as I'm not into Queen's Blade, there are some people who would refuse to even acknowledge some of it's good aspects despite many things of detestability. I'm not into boobs, so none of it's fanservive and eccchi really appeals to me. It had moments I saw, especially on the first episode, with very beautiful artwork. And it's theme music is some of the best I've ever heard. As much as I don't like like the show, I can at least give it that. I doubt my fellow haters would admit to these good aspects. Pandora Hearts. Seriously, the artwork isn't that bad, people. I'm sick and tired of hearing people whine and complain and hate on Gonzo in general. Gonzo isn't that bad. |

| Those "mainstream battle anime / manga". Naruto, Bleach, One Piece; maybe D. Gray Man and Katekyo Hitman Reborn etc ... And Vampire Knight anime. Yeah, some characters might be a bit annoying, and plot was nothing extra (I'm writing about anime) in both seasons, and graphic too, but seriously ... it's not bad at all. |
| Naruto: It isn't so much that I disagree with the hate, but I am tired of people going on and on about it. Fullmetal Alchemist: I hear people go on and on about how the anime is inferior to the manga. I have never read the manga myself, but I can't imagine the anime is really that bad by comparison. It is one of the few shounen anime I have seen that manages to tie up the loose ends and not seem like it was being thought up of in the process of being made. Evangelion: Enough with all the Shinji hate! Just because he isn't a typical, gung-ho, "let me at em" type of anime hero doesn't mean that he isn't an effective character. The show sort of depends on Shinji having the type of personality that he does. Given that fact, I don't see how you could like Evangelion yet hate Shinji so much. .hack//SIGN: I like this anime. I liked that it was more of a study of each of the characters than it was about action and adventure. Yet everyone seems to despise it. Elfen Lied: I am sick of hearing people say that its about nothing but blood and naked women. Okay, I am aware that the show is geared towards the sensibilities of a heterosexual male, but that doesn't make it a bad show. For crying out loud, I'm a homosexual male and I like it! |

| Naruto and Bleach mostly, but that's probably because I'm on a forum that's based on Naruto. I am also tired of people moaning about any "moe blob" anime like K-On or Saki. If it isn't your type of anime, then fine. No need to bash people over the head with non-stop complaining about how the anime industry is going to hell. |
