| As in the one to get me addicted? The Melancholy/ Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. Though I watched two bad/mediocre anime before that, OreImo and Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu. But those two were recommended to me, Haruhi was the first one I searched for myself. |

| I started off watching Naruto, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Yu-Gi-Oh and DragonBallz as a kid. Though my "gateway" was Clannad/afterstory along with other shows I watched afterwards which were Angel Beats and Anohana. |

| I found out due to youtube. I didn't really know anime when I watched dragonball z and pokemon. I thought they were just cartoons. I found out about youtube 3 years later thanks to my brother. He saw a cool video from dragonball z on youtube and when I watched that I saw a video from Naruto at the side. I decided to watch that because it looked interesting. I thought it was epic. A few years later when I was in middle school I saw that video again and decided to look for the series. I saw a episode of it and I thought it was cool but I asn't really sure if I would like it. A year later I found out a friend of me actually watched it for more than 4 years. And from that moment on I was hooked. I decided to watch more series and I've been watching anime daily for 1 year now. |

| K-ON. I just sort of assumed before I got into anime that it was just Ghibli, edgy gore fests, girly romantic comedies, DBZ ripoffs and porn. Not sure whether I'd say getting into anime was a good choice all in all but I will never regret finding K-ON. |
