| Hello everyone, I am in the approach to picking some new stuff from my list to watch after the Spring anime wave, and I find myself in need of ONE very good drama anime. I have not seen yet the EF series and Kanon (2006), but if you have some other recommendations so I can ampliate the possibilities of choices I would be very grateful. I'd like the drama to be pretty intense, that will make me feel a very strong empathy with the situations and the characters. Please, no very big cast and the atmosphere should be really heavy. I've already seen Clannad, Air and Anohana. Thanks! |
| Honey and Clover, Nana fits White Album II is drama up the ass and much shorter than the latter two. Also it is a newer anime (2013). edit: if you were wondering White Album II is not a sequel of White Album I. It is a standalone series. |

| You should really watch "Shingeki no Kyojin", it is realllyy good. You will fall in love with the characters and the atmosphere is pretty much very intense throughout the all series. It's facepaced and will keep you wanting more. It is really really realllyyy good, and I highly recommend it. If you're looking for a drama/romance sort of anime, try, 'Sukitte Ii na yo' and 'Isshuukan Friends.' they are really cute and sweet animes. Also try 'Winter Sonata' (the anime ver.) - it was originally a kdrama that they made into a korean anime but yeah, this is really reallyyy good. If you want like a sort of more "mature" romance atmosphere then definately watch this, it's really good. Shinsekai Yori - that's also pretty good. But this one is more drama-esk, and not very very fast paced. Well it comes and goes, but it is pretty good. oh, also try out 'Fate/Zero' - if you want an anime action-esk sort of anime with rivaling families and which also has a "supernatural" aspect to it, you should try this out as well. |

As long as you don't mind a LOT of comedy, but it doesnt get in the way of the drama scenes. Loved this anime, it needs a second season, though I'm not sure what it will be about. |
