Fruits Basket. The manga was nice, but so many questions were unanswered. The manga on the other hand was more satisfying.

One Piece manga is miles better than the actual anime. It's 2014 and some of the animations are still pretty bad in the anime.

Definetly One Pice. I just can't stand the animation quality.

Most long running shonenes, especially bleach since the manga are filler-less.
Berserk for sure.

That's.. every series, right?
I don't think there's been any instance where I thought the anime counterpart was superior to it's original manga series. Or at least I can't think of any.

The No. 6 novel was definitely MUCH better than the anime. The anime missed so many of the beautiful interactions between Nezumi and Shion. Not to mention, it also missed quite a few plot points and made the ending seem awkward.

But the ending theme was a huge plus for the anime. And I'll admit that the anime made it easier for me to visualize the characters while reading the novel, and hence, significantly raised my enjoyment level.

The only one I can really think of right now is what I currently read/watch which is Baby Steps. I feel like the manga is a notch above the anime. The anime's not bad, it's just not on par with the manga to me.

Almost everything I enjoyed the manga over the anime.. About the only exception were like power up scenes from One piece, and DBZ for expample.

The Beelzebub anime was disappointing compared to the awesome manga. It had so many useless spoilers and much of the action, blood and intensity of a fight was lessened. The anime ruined many of the so-called heroic moments killing the whole satisfaction.

The first that comes to mind would be Karneval.

Although the anime had no real flaws in terms of animation it was short, cut a lot of parts out, didn't finished and ultimately led me to the manga; although I think that's what a lot of anime are purposed for --promoting the manga by engaging you then leaving you hanging :/
Morals are just pretty words that contradict each other, are only purposed and promoted so you act like others want you to because it's convenient for them and get YOU no where.

that's why I make my own morals and don't care about what the others think of me.

I think Air Gear would get my vote. Even though the manga is sort of all over the place towards the end. Still beats out the made-too-early anime.

Most of them. In any situation, source material is generally better than the adaptation, not to say that there aren't adaptations out there that surpass the source material.

That being said, I just finished Rurouni Kenshin and even though the Shishio arc was handled very well in the anime, especially with the song "Departure," I still had more fun while reading the manga.
And I mean that in the most sexually painful way possible.

Is this really a questions lol most manga's probably 95% of the time are better then the adaptions at least i think so for example KINGDOM, one of the best manga's i have read and currently reading. The anime was a so so nuffin to be hype about i'm hoping if it does get a 3 season cause thats when the manga really picks up
Be It 10 or 1000 Men, The End Result Will Be The Same..

Nana is one manga which is way above its anime. The sophisticated artwork of the manga seems to be lost in the anime. The anime also does not interact with me on an emotional level.

Claymore...
"we're already the walking dead. if there's anything that makes us different from the real dead, there's only one. living and dying isn't the real issue. if you cling to being alive, you become frightened and your eyes get clouded. if you don't have that desire to begin with, you can fight on, right to the end of the world." - Revy

I love how people are saying Berserk, because the first original anime adaptation was never even finished, so of course the manga is better. But either way, imo APPLESEED is the biggest example of it being better in the manga. And yeah yeah it wasn't all covered in the movie, and yeah the movie was CG, but I honestly feel like it was missing a lot of the charm that the manga had so much of.

Many people have said this but Gantz. I liked Berserk manga better too, much darker and violent than its anime adaptation. Though some things in the Berserk manga have scarred my poor mind.
