| Kind of like how clubs have "anime relations" and "manga relations," have a header that says "Affiliated Clubs" or "Related Clubs" so that clubs can list their affiliations on the side. The club description area gets really crowded after a while >__> (I can't remember if this has been suggested already...I know I had this idea a while ago and never said anything because we got around it through linking in the club discussion, but with the new MAL Awards Club I think it would be easier for the contest clubs if we could have this feature.) As for suggestions on how it would work, you could use the same search/add function that exists for the anime, manga, and character relations. |
| This would be interesting. But there would need to be a way that both clubs can agree on being affiliated with each other (Wouldn't want a club which I wish to have no part of adding my club to their list) It's unlikely this will be implemented though, especially since we can't even add People to the relations yet. |
| The "Friends" function should fit better. So when you add a club to be affiliated to you, the club can accept it or not. I'm not sure how hard it is to make this work, but it might be interesting. |
| Yeah I would like to see people added first. The idea seems good but slightly flawed as Zennkid pointed out. Maybe add in clubs as invites? Like search it, then "invite to affiliate" then if the creator accepts it gets added. That way if there's spamming going on at least the creators have the chance to sort through them. | Kouki is right. The affiliated clubs such work like the friends function. Don't want some random contest to be affiliated with us without approving :/ |
