| The author of Gosick and have announced on his twitter that he'll continue to write the sequel to Gosick. Title of the sequel will be Gosick Red. So guys, if you want Gosick to receive a sequel, please buy the light novel and pray that the sales of the light novel is good so they will decide to animate it! The first volume will be on sale during Christmas 25th December 2013 as announced by kadokawa on their site :D |

| there is absolutely no need to continue this story especially since it ended on such a strong note, i hope this is just some side story or follows different characters because kujou's and victorique's story is long done and needs absolutely nothing else added to it |

| I think they should make a new season. There are a lot of people who loved the anime and if you could extend the story with new mystery and a new mastermind that would be amazing. |
| Well the summary of the continuation can be found on kadokawa website. I personally like the author decision to continue with the story. Of course while I'd like to see more of Victorique in her new hair color, I hope to see their offspring too. Definitely gonna hope the story turns out well. |

There's hardly anyone coming on the boards dedicated to LN on MAL anyway, and who knows, this may lead to a new anime as well in a few year, why not. BTW, those saying that the series doesn't need a sequel blablabla that the series has a strong end just don't know what they're talking about. The anime version of Gosick's ending (which is quite far from the LN one on a lot of points, although the main results (who die, who leaves, and so on) are mostly the same ) is full of plot holes and of completely unexplained happenings (like, care to explain to me why did Victorique's hair changed color? Or why Victorique could leave the katamibako at the end of the train arc in the hands of an enemy even though that box was what was protecting her beloved mother from being tracked down and killed?) . And what happens in the sequel (them managing a detective agency in Manhattan ) is already present in the end of the novels so it's perfectly linked. So please don't assume that by watching an adaptation you know the original work. The sequel is a good news, I was disapointed that the author didn't cover in more details the manhattan part after all. |
