Prices of trips and tv/computers/smartphones etc. are almost the same, higer price - better trip or better tv.

Which one provide better entertainment? Which would u choose?

Trips, any day of the year. I have no TV and a 200 bucks shitty computer, but I've already seen every continent except africa and australia and generally travelled around a lot.
I probably regret this post by now.

at the moment i'd say travel...but that would not always be true. either one could be worth it.

Definitely a trip to another country, I love traveling. The experiences would be much stronger than what a smartphone could offer.

Trip, however unlike electronics, you'd spend way more than the trip's basic cost. At least it happens to me, buying useless stuff like handicraft, fancy stuffs, t-shirts, etc. Didn't regret it though.

I just spent 550 bucks on a ps4 and some games. A trip to Japan would cost around 2500 for the bare minimum and only for a few days at that price.

So it's hard to really compare "this or that" in this situation, the money being spent is so hugely different.

ps4 is like travel to country above you, Travel to Japan is like 50' tv + uber audio.

I'd rather travel.

If I have kids, I'll buy an electric guitar.

Yeah, I suppose it doesn't need to be Japan - there are a lot of cheaper places to go.

In the case of more close amounts of money being spent - so something like going to Canada, Mexico, or somewhere in South America...I'd probably go with the electronics. With my lifestyle and mental stuff I can't really go outside at all, and when I can it's not without horrible stress and panic attacks anyway, so I'd definitely get more enjoyment out of something I can have fun with in my own home.

A trip.

It doesn't matter where.

"every continent except africa and australia"

LMAO, I WILL ADD THIS TO MY SIGNATURE

There are six continents, you have only visited four, which means you can't say you visited all because you only visited 66%

And worst of all: Australia, a continent. Really?

A trip, of course! I already have what I need from electronics and I'm not really interest in it either. As long as it allows me to store music on it and has internet access, it's all good to me.
+ I absolutely love traveling
I'll see something new and probably meet some interesting people (all people are interesting in one way or another so it has to happen). Meanwhile, if I buy a new phone or whatever nothing special will happen (not to mention that I get emotionally attached to everything so I'd feel bad for my old phone)

The idea of traveling is very romantic to me, so you can guess which option won my vote. I'd rather take a trip to Italy and see the beautiful countrysides and architecture than blow it on some ipad-shithundred with 12 new apps.

No it's called being an overemotional pansy and it's the base of my personality so I don't think I can do too much about it except pretend I'm actually cool and detached but thanks for the advice friend

I'd buy a new computer. I hate sitting in a vehicle for more than three hours. You don't know a place until you live there, so you might as well watch a documentary.

Go for a trip.

If you ever have the opportunity to go somewhere new, GO. That shouldn't even be a "should I?" question.

I'm not too keen on the latest gadgets anyway. As long as my laptop and iPhone4s are still working, I'm happy.

Traveling.

All I need to bring (other than clothes and money) is a smart phone and get a hotel room with electricity and free wifi.

the chances to travel are far rarer than the chances of obtaining more electronics.

to be able to go someplace and see the culture, have an adventure, meet people, and most importantly the food, is something you shouldnt pass up

Sentimental value towards objects...

It's just one step closer to a hoarding disorder.

Sooner or later, you may not want to throw away your own garbage, then it starts accumulating in your house...

Then you'd be on the TV show.

xD

I would go with the electronics. For the price of any overseas trip I could buy a brand new pc, and a new tv.
