anime that make me laugh
a main character who doesnt give up and fights for what he believes in
anime set in interesting and amazing universes (preferably with art to support them)
Things i hate in anime:
dumb characters
when protagonists(or my favorite characters) die
sad/confusing/convoluted endings
most psychological anime/ anime that plays to many mind games
What i consider when rating:
art, story/plot, characters, annoyance factor, comedy, ending, and overall feeling after completing.

1- should just give up working in the industry

Ratings more lenient for earlier watched series(ie higher rating), so possible inconsistencies occur

My other hobbies include watching tv, reading web novels, bicycle riding, and playing billiards, to name a few.

I really liked you animelist design, it shows the info that you need to know, where did you find it? Or did you customize it yourself?

yeah I saw it was on netflix but didn't know it was actually only season 2 so I ended up watching the first 12 episodes of that before season 1 which I'm watching now. pretty good so far

I wound up finding a thread on how to skip the filler. helped a lot. surprising how much of it was just filler. still a pretty good series though. watching Nurarihyon no Mago now!

I've been watching bleach lately. first 60ish episodes were great but the whole bountu arc is kind of dragging. idk if you've seen it recently but if so does it pick back up in your opinion?

watched them both. nanatsu I really liked. world break not so much. on world break the plot was cool but they spent a majority of the series on relationships and dates and pervy childish panty humor stuff that got old really quick. by the 6th episode I had had enough of it. stuck with it though. nanatsu was great on the other hand. it had some of those same elements but it didn't completely take over the action and story like in world break and while world break did get better at the end it wasn't enough for me to justify putting up with all the other stuff. anyways thanks for those recommendations! If you have any other ideas that would be great.

Thanks for the suggestions! I agree that is the best way to do it, but I'm so impatient. I'll definitely check those two out. Another friend of mine had been recommending World Break already so I think I'll start with that

just peeking at your list. you should be watching Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka! Through 10 episodes I think it has the potential to be the best of all the RPG game type anime barring a turnaround in log horizon. If you have anything you could recommend to me that would be awesome!

with the way the dvds and blurays have been selling I think you and I are in the majority. safe to say there will be a season 2 :) I was thinking about the OP thing some more after the review and I thought, isn't it kind of the way most action or shounen anime winds up being anyway? the mc always is OP in the end it seems. I guess most people like the more expected molds mknr doesn't attempt to fit. I will say though it seems like my tastes don't fit a lot of peoples' on this site. some of the highest ranked anime on here I haven't been able to make it through or just barely so. I'm actually about to start another rewatch right now! thanks for the support on the review!

Yeah, it seems to be a case-to-case basis as well. There are some that have art that are sub-par but the story is good (e.g. Ouran and Kotoura-san). I believe Shingeki no Bahamut had a nice animation though.

I don't think it's worth it for me to watch a slow-paced anime with bits of action here and there because I won't be able to concentrate on the show since it'll make me sleepy >_<

Oh I see, thanks for clearing that up. It seems you dislike slower paced shows. Kaiji is slow, but I should say it's worth it. Michiko to Hatchiin was just really entertaining for me.

That's right. If an anime has bad art, or its characters annoy me, or if I become bored early on I'll drop it. But I've realized that that was because I usually tend to marathon them. I'm picking up Baccano again and I've watched episode 1 the other day so I'll try to watch another one in a couple of days or even next week. I'll try to see if that works for me. Although I don't regret dropping most of the ones in my dropped list so I'll pick up only the ones I'm a teeny bit interested in.

It was more teasing than anything, don't worry about it :P

"All of the feels"... I saw that you hate Anime with sad endings and the like, so I suppose you don't like having your feels tempered with :)
