Lolol you made a thread on this.
Bakuman's always had slow subs. It was even worse at the end of season 2.

Yeah well need to write out frustration some where.

In any case yeah Bakuman is quite slow but usually not that slow, although there was that time when two eps where released at the same time.

There was a time where blazing fast subs took over, it was for like 2 episodes, the episode was subbed after an hour with them, unfortunately they stopped doing it for some reason.

LOL it'll be funny if they release the subbed episodes for 23, 24, and 25 together...

They drag on subbing this anime, but oh well. Can't really complain about a free service without sounding like an ungrateful prick, you know?

What's the reason for the late subbing for Bakuman? Is it not a popular as I thought it was?

Fansubbers are people, they have a life, and they don't get pay for this.

Maybe this series take more time because they don't like it anymore, or maybe because it has too much dialog.

Who cares, nobody is forced to deliver the episode "on time". In fact, the concept of "late" doesn't make any sense in this context, there isn't any release date for subs made by fans for fans.

So, the episode can be out whenever Sage wants.

I like the way Bakuman structures their episodes where the cliffhangers at the end would give great suspense for one to hold for the next 7 days. If the subbers decide to release the last 3 all at once, then it's just sad.. I agree with gigglingidiot, we want to complain but not wanna sound ungrateful for the free service of them helping us to subs. Indeed the first few episodes did come out fast, unfortunately the finale isn't the same.

In any case, at least, better late than never please..

Sage will probably not sub the last three episodes because they don't care about the series any more. I remember reading somewhere that someone independent would sub this episode and upload it earlier today. Whether his speaking the truth or not we will see.

I just watched 23 and 24 raw (since I understand japanese).
Wonderful, just wonderful. It was just as exciting as reading the manga was when it came out. Also I hope they release them together since I think the impact will be better if watched one after the other.

I wish someone other sub group would have just picked this one up for this season. I understand people are doing this in their free time, but come on. I can't remember the last time I watched an anime besides bakuman that took multiple weeks to get their subs out.

Godamn, its been a long time since I watched Bakuman. I marathoned the entire show from season 1 all the way up to S3 ep 22 in about a week. Since then, I've started and finished Hyouka, Space Bros (up to latest ep) and Chihayafuru, AND read 150+ chapters of a new manga.

Not to mention there have been the weekly episodes of Jojo, SSY, One Piece and Gintama for me.

I can barely remember everyone's name in Bakuman at this point :/

You made me laugh guys thanks xD

However, yep! Subs are out! Although there were a few little mistakes, who cares?! I just want this subbing for ep24 as well ^_^

And the subbers quit on the last 3 episodes? I will not even respect people who do not respect their work enough to complete it after that much time...

Sage finally subbed it! They're working on episode 24 as well. Just be impatient, they're the only subgroup doing Bakuman after all. :)
