I love the way he's presented in the anime. Ya just gotta love a good perverted smart-ass, don't you? And although his character is a bit different in the manga (you don't get to see much of the "devilish" Shigure in the anime), he still shines above all the others for me. ^_^ |
| for me chelle, it's kyo. although i ususally hate picking the main characters as my favorite in this case i have to give in to that. i think he and yuki have the greatest transformation in the series, both manga and anime. (some would argue that it was Rin or Akito) being the cat, no one really would miss him, so he could have left home, and truly ran away, but he didn't. he stayed and fought to be accepted. i love the fact that he is both bold/loud, but also soft/caring. he's such a "big brother" to Momiji and Haru, by picking on them. |

| I really like Hatori. He's an overall very nice guy and he cares for his family a lot. He's almost like the "father" of the family because he looks after everyone else, gives advice, and is like the voice of reason in situations. There's also the fact that he's very organized and knows what he's doing. |

| I like Ayame best in the anime. He's hilarious, handsome and majestic, there's just never a dull moment with him around! Also, he has the ability to freeze people speechless around him when he talks. =p I like his theme as well. |

| Momiji is one of my favorite characters. Because he and I have similar pasts evolving our birth-mothers. He is a very strong person although he is open and emotional at times. |

| My favourite character is definitely Kyo. I love him! I always did, even when he had such a bad attitude... I guess I could tell he didn't really want to be that way. On the inside, he's actually one of the most gentle and caring people in the story, really wonderful. I also love Momiji. |

| I'd have to agree with thumbsucker whole-heartedly. I hate picking the main character, but he really was my favorite from his first introduction into the anime, and as his character grew through the anime, and even further into the manga, I fell head over heels for him over and over again. My close second character would have to be a close tie between Rin and Haru, with Rin just edging past Haru (even though Haru reminds me a lot of my boy ^^;). But I find it really difficult to pick just one in this series - partly because of the great range of characters, and partly because Fruits Basket began my full-fledged addiction to both manga and anime, even though I had watched anime before and had already begun TRC at the time I found this series. Sorry for the looooooooooong post!!! =X |
| Umm...If I had to pick a favorite I'd have to pick Momiji. His personality and mine are a lot a like in the way that even though his mother forgot him he kept on going, throughout the hard times. That's a lot like me. Taking second place is tied between Weed [a character that is from an anime called Ginga Densetsu Weed] and Kisa Sohma, she is just sooo Kawaii and I can't help but adore her. Taking third place is Kyo. I just LOVE his attitude ^^ I can sometimes relate to it too. Oh crap I forgot to put Kakeru Manabe. I just love his attitude and he also relates a bit to me with his teasing attitude. He's somewhere in the top 5. Haven't exactly really placed him yet. |

| Momiji!!! He so lovable. He's cute with a wonderful streak of mischievousnesses. He zodiac form make you want to hug him and he seems so happy when you know that he's really sad inside. Poor momiji. Love Ayame also. His fashion sense is just divine. |

| I love Haru! he's got a nifty split personality kinda like me. He's got the soft-spoken calm ambiance about him when he's white and when he goes black he's all 180 degree flip which I find adorable. Close second place favorite is probably hiro, i know it's extremely odd but he's adorable and my zodiac sign, so naturally I like him a bit more than some of the others. He's defensive and arrogant, an all around brat. But he's also really nice and finds it difficult to express himslef. I really love most of the characters in Furuba, there are so many different quirks that make each one interesting in their own way. So it was hard to choose favorites out of the lot. |

| well for me :D I watched the anime first and read alot from the manga :) and I found most of them didn't change but Yuki for some reason I found him better in the manga >.< and I kinda like him more then Kyo in the manga :P |

| I'm probably one of the few but my favorite character is Akito! Not much in the anime but definitely in the manga. I don't want to post spoilers but I like that Akito is a very complex character. In the anime, however, my favorite are Shigure and Kyo. |
