I'd say yes, because it might be fun with some anime, but anime overall:
We'd all be dead or depressed or in hiding. We'd have to send our children off to form contracts with magic users and demons and have them pilot giant robots as they undergo psychological breakdowns, all the while giant monsters of impending doom are laying waste to the surface of the planet, with only a few moe girls to take them down. Unfortunately, those moe girls would likely get captured by all the perverted people on the planet. Thus, the planet would fall apart into ruin.

Ever since I've started reading/watching anime, I've wished Pokemon, Vampire Knight, Full Metal Alchemist and Bleach were all real. Though in most of these, we'd probably dead in less than a week..... -_-'

At least life would hawe some purpos that way...You would hawe someting to die for someting to live for.... if you don't hawe anyting you would die for you than don't hawe anyting you live for...I hate piple who aren't redy too give thay lives for wath they belive in.

To add onto this, all this trouble would probably be caused by a couple of kids playing a seemingly harmless game that turns out to have magical powers that could very well determine the fate of the world.

As you all can see from this, anime being real would be horrible.

I would love for anime to be real, but another half of me says no.

I have always dreamed of being in an anime when I was little, being the hero and all, and having all these super powers, but what I think of it as, you wouldn't want to have the life of a suckish anime character who is always getting they're asses kicked.

Sure, maybe you would/may get an awesome anime character, but something just throws me off about the idea.

Anyways, 9/10 people would be a mob character and I would feel sorry for them.

Sometimes I wish we at least had some of the inventions we see in Anime. I mean what would I give to be able to play something like Sword Art Online with the exact same gameplay as in the Anime.
Other than that, it always depends on the Anime, I mean who wants Animes like "Another" or other Horror titles to come true?

I don't wish anime were real. Besides if a certain anime were real what makes you think you'll be the MC. Why would you want to be the MC, usually they have loads of trouble!

I think some sci-fi universes are really cool but I don't think I'd like to live in them. The real world is the real world, and you've got to remember it's this world that gave birth to everything you see in anime.
