| I need an anime where the MC has a great look on life. Someone that inspires because they don't give a shit about rules or anything they just do whats right. Fights for friends and is just complete bad ass. I've been watching a lot of anime lately but I haven't seen many MCs that inspire me. Doesn't necessarily have to be like that though, I wouldn't mind one that just simply has a unique/awesome personality. Characters I liked in order of Best Example to still good: -Luffy (One Piece) -Zoro (One Piece) -Natsu (Fairy Tail) -Kazuma (Kaze no Stigma) -Naruto (Naruto) -Takashi (Highschool of the Dead) -Kirito (SAO) |

| Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? The main character in this is kind of a character you can relate to, and he does a lot of stuff he'd rather not do in order to save the day. Also... Strike Witches. The main character in Strike Witches is a total female shounen lead (not shounen though I dont think). She basically defies societies rules to help her friends and whatnot. Also, fan service. |

| Actually, I think that Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou No Shichinin corresponds to your description, even though I'm not sure you'd like it, since it has nothing to do with anime like One Piece or Naruto. But, we have this inspiring aspect. |

| I've always looked up to Lelouch (at the later part of the Code Geass R2, where he sacrificed himself for the good of the people) Shikamaru from Naruto - i've looked up to him since I feel like we share the same personality. He's lazy yet he is a genius, he just doesnt show off that much compared to others. Gutz from Berserk - quiet, seems cold, yet he cares for his comrades and is loyal to his friends/loved ones. Badass indeed. |
