| Episode was okay. I had trouble getting excited about it till the last bit when Kanda resurrected and sacrificed his innocence for the supposed kill. Though the pacing of the fight was good, I didn't like how they went about animating it. It didn't have the epic feel that it had in the manga. |

| i finaly cought up with this one. i found myself skipping through some of the epp, but only cause some of the stuff were failry straight forward. it was a good ep, i wanna see what happens next. |

Actually that's just what I was thinking. Though I haven't read the manga yet, I can picture Skin's character design looking much better on paper. The whole garish yellow colour-scheme looks pretty damn tacky, along with the rainbow room and everything. I just couldn't take this battle seriously, he looked like some generic big yellow monster, and the way he just runs around screaming 'LIGHTNING!'...it was really corny. =/ I haven't had my usual excitement over D.Gray-man lately mostly because of him. For some reason it feels like I'm watching a totally different anime, Skin's whole design just doesn't fit with the rest of the series in my view. I'll admit it tarnished it a bit for me. But oh well, hopefully we won't see much more of him. xD |

| Kanda with his shirt off!!! He just looked really, really hot. I really love how he just is certain he won't lose or die. No doubt, even facing a Noah. I'm glad this fight is over tho... I agree that Skin's design isn't so great, and it was starting to get to me. But again, Kanda had his shirt off, so it was worth it. ^^ |

I'm looking forward to the next ep, though, when we get some backstory (finally) on Kanda's lotus and where the Noahs are coming from. |

| I love Kanda - he's one of my favourite characters - but this fight did seem to be liking that "punch" that some of the other ones had. Don't get me wrong... It was still a really good fight. Still liked watching it, but mostly because we get to find out about Kanda. Sorry but I don't care at all about Skin... I didn't really care that he seemed to be forced to be a Noah or that he harbours rage and blah blah blah. I was super annoyed that he wasn't dead. And also... neither Kanda nor Skin seemed to actually be using any tricky little strategies while they were fighting or anything. Maybe the fight would've seemed more epic if it hadn't been so straightforward... XD (Slash slash slash, lightning attacks, slash, pain, etc.) Looking forward to seeing how Kanda deals with stupid Skin's still being alive though. D: I love Kanda's "will" to live (not sure if I should call it that... Since it's more like refusal to die, or actual knowledge that he won't die, rather than belief...). |

| Oke episode, the fight wasn't that impressive to be honest, the ending was pretty cool though and same for the backstory on him! Lets see what's next, I hope it's a bit more story than just fighting each other... |

| Yes the thing I posted in last episode's discussion is valid here as well. Kanda's full of mysteries, we don't the first thing about him apart from those falling lotus petals(?) everytime in his flashback.. what's that even supposed to mean? Sudden powerups indeed did a number on Noah but who to tell Kanda he still ain't dead. |
