| Hard choice; both of them are really great. Samurai have great skills in swordsmanship and were a force to be reckoned with. While Ninja on the other hand use agility and stealth to complete their jobs. Both have a history to them and are really neat subjects to learn about... I dunno. I can't decide right now. :P |

Besides, samurais have amazing katanas and fighting styles. They also have a huge history behind them and codes of honor and philosophies ninjas don't have. I do think samurais kick more ass, or at least look better doing it ^^" |
| Ninjas use of stealth, hidden weapon, knowledge of deadly techniques, use of environment and dirty tricks gives them quite an advantage... and I'm not talking about fiction here. Samurai are strong soldiers. They are ready to fight when called upon, but a Ninja would probably prefer a method like poisoning him rather than seek direct conflict. And it certainly won't be the samurai who directly challenges the Ninja, he'd wouldn't even know that a ninja is around (in most cases). long story short: In the end the setting decides it all, and usually it's the assassin who decides on the setting ;) |
| Hard choise to decide who is the best out of those 2 ... If there was a battle between a ninja and a samurai ... i would bet my money on the ninja since a samurai is probably more skilled in swordsmanship then a ninja but they live by a code of honor that makes them fight fair and square , unlike the ninja that is a trained assasin that uses any means necesary to complete his mission . Its funny for me since i imagine a samurai being a World of Warcraft warrior and the ninja a rogue ... in a duel the rogue always has the advantage since he choses when to strike , and when he does he strikes hard and merciless . |

| While I hold a fair bit of respect for Bushido and the way of the Samurai I'd have to say that a Ninja is a lot cooler and far more deadly... so Ninja gets my vote. |

| Had to say ninjas. Ninjas are stealthy assassins that can fight as well as take you out silently. Samarais are great fighters but dont have the stealthy ability of a ninja. Both are good choices. |

| I have never been able to decide on this, and probably never will x.x So I won't put my vote in. Although, I lean more towards ninjas, but alot of samurais are just as bad ass xD If the ninja gets to use a kantana, then that's better, because it's like both >.>; Good to see that the votes are pretty even though. |

| A year ago I'd have said Ninjas, hands down. But after reading more and more about the Shinsengumi I now have a strange fascination for samurai. I've always been interested in the Knights of the Round Table and King Arthur and whatnot, and samurai remind me of their codes of honor. |

And an ninja was as much used as spies as assasins and well i promise you the majority of the ninja's is more skilled then samurai since its needed to stay in theyre line of work, and they use more then just swords to kill people even if you can see the more "romanised" works that ninja also is some sort of swordmaster... ah i could go on but Im not intrested enough^^; or am i?... hmm |
