DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Oh shit, Byakuya lost and looks like As Nodt used his bankai against him?! It's safe to say that As Nodt's special ability is to frighten people (F for fear) and it was not so bad to see Byakuya get "scared" but that's just not what I wanted to see in this particular chapter. What is Gekka Tenshou and I'm pissed that we didn't get to see who the one was that killed Kirge? |

| I'm just going to quote someone here: "The Gekka Tenshou is the name of the point blank Getsuga, frankly I'm surprised Kubo even mentioned it. Every variation of Ichigo's Getsuga has a name. The one where he keeps it inside the blade, the barrage of several minor ones and the one fired at shoulder height (supposedly for the purpose for beheading) all have a name. The quick one he used against Yammy for example is called Issen Getsuga." You can learn these attack names in the third Databook, Unmasked, and the games. |

| IMO, it was either Isshin or Grimmjow who showed up. And yes it is annoying that they didn't show who it was. I am also curious as to what Gekka Tenshou is. But I kinda figures that many Shinigami would die since this is the last Arc, although I'm not saying Byakuya is dead, its just I do think some of the more known Shinigami will die at some point. But overall this Arc has been pretty intriguing so far and I look forward to getting alot or the answers I have been waiting so long for. |

This being Bleach that's quite something. I really had to pull myself together to not laugh out loud since I'm at work. Also he is obviously not dead. | My first time reading Bleach manga in 3 months... still the same crap as always. I get that Kubo got a lot of criticism on the first part of the series on how none of the good guys died... but he didn't have to go and kill everyone on this arc. |

| (I'll pretend like I didn't see that "panel" on the Rukia page and enjoy her smiling.) So they didn't answer the question, what a let-down. I seriously wasted so much time this past week seeking out spoilers like a man-possessed. I'm not really looking forward to the next few chapters if they're going to get through all of the fights first. Might as well marathon them when they're a bit further. Also, Byakuya is not going to die, obviously. Even if he lost every part of his body other than his head, I'd still say he'd get healed somehow. However, if Kubo has the courage to kill him off, he will definitely gain some respect. Renji and Rukia can get a lot of character development from it and have some very emotional scenes. Not to mention, Ichigo/Renji would probably snap and go bloodlust mode in a future encounter with Quincy. |

The ending of the chapter kind of got on my nerves i really didnt want to see Ichigo in DESPAIR AGAIN. I"m glad the captains are getting there asses beat. I really wish Kubo would do the right thing and bring the drama to this stale manga, because this is the first time I'm actually interested in Bleach. Granted, I care about Byakuya as much as I cared about Kira and Yamamoto's butler, i.e. a zilch. Byakuya is a one-dimensional character just like the other two, only defined by his honor and being cool and controlled, so all things considered dying in fear is the only character development he'll ever get. But it's intriguing seeing all those characters defined only by being "cool" and "badass" falling like flies, while Ichigo, the epitome of "cool" and "badass" in Bleach, can't do nothing but scream and get frustrated. And I hope that when he'll arrive to SS, what he'll see will be ruins and corpses all around him, all his friends dead or dying, and the Sternritter victorious and with a bounty of Bankai; while Ichigo will be weak, scared and desperate and he'll have to survive the Quincies hunting him, instead of going against all odds and pulling a "deus-ex-machina victory" like he always does. |

| I don`t believe Kubo has the guts to kill popular characters but if he gets a little brave, I can see Ichigo walking into a SS filled with corpses and the only survivors would be.. OTHER THAN AIZEN - Rukia/Renji - Toshiro/Rangiku/Hinamori - Kenpachi/Yachiru/Ikkaku/Yumechika - Kensei/Hisagi - Unohaha-San/Isane/Hanatarou(lol) - Ukitake/Shunsui and Nanao-Chan - Soifon/Omaeda(failure comedy relief are immortal) - Shinji/Rose - Mayuri/Nemu - Possibly a few other Vice-Captains and Seated officers. The Quincy will definitely retreat once Ichigo gets in on order from the beard. That`s when the post-war intense interaction will occur. Yama-ji`s death causes a huge instability and it`s taking everything Unohana-san, Shunsui and Ukitake have to order a retreat, locate all corpses and prevent the survivors and themselves from breaking down. Unohana and Isane will also treat as many as they can. Ichigo will definitely blame himself for it all and we`ll get some remorse from everyone. Captains remaining: - Unohana-San, Ukitake and Shuunsui (mentioned already) - Toshiro (lives for a role of Captain Commander he may need to play in the future, he has the most potential since he`s so young and has the strongest Ice instead of fire.) - Kenpachi (too awesome and no Bankai) - Soifon (can`t die with Yoruichi off-scren lol) - Mayuri (for the sake of the science department) - Shinji/Rose/Kensei (Vaizards are supposedly stronger than Captains so I see them holding their own.) The rest: I picked them solely on how close they are to Ichigo and the relationships they have/had with remaining/dead Cast. Every other Shinigami who was involved in the war is dead, including all fodder, Yamamoto, Byakuya, Komamura and Kira. This way Kubo can minimize hate and keep a story/purpose while killing off a "large amount of people", our beloved Byakuya and make Soul Society suffer an utter defeat. The survivors can also develop nicely. I don`t think he has the courage to go through with something like this though, let alone kill off more. |

But If is true than Kubo will be courageous because He is one of the most "important" captains in SS and in the manga.... PS: I was really mad that Kubo didn't show who killed Kirge... |

| how is it possible to win against someone but not being able to escape from a barrer-trap-like-thingy they created. i'm pissed at Ichigo for staying there too long ... Wow that made me LOL: Byakuya: You're not smart enough to lure that guy's abilities like i can Renji: He is right. And the guy in question begins to explaine it all by himself without an intervention from Byakuya's smartness :) SO LIKE BLEACH :D |
