| I want to share in this topic my unanswered questions about CLAMP mangas. Many of my questions are about current mangas, mostly about TRC and XXXHOLIC so there'll be lots of spoilers! 1) What is Yuuko's relation with Clow and real name? 2) What exactly are Mara and Moro? 3) In TRC, Sakura is Clow's daughter. But Syaoran and Fei Wang Reed are descendants of Clow. So would this mean they are relatives of Sakura and Touya? I mean, Syaoran and Sakura look a bit alike, but that would be just a bit too much...XD Or maybe there is 2 Clows? *head explodes* 4) Was R!Syaoran born in Clow as well?was he kidnapped and substituted with C!Syaoran or what? 5) Why does Subaru dress like that? WHY? WHY? 6) Are FW Reed, Clow and Fai all after the same goal- bringing people back to life-? If that's true, why do they show so many times in TRC that that is completely impossible(i mean, wasn't Clow meant to be really wise)? 7) What's with CLAMP and twins and eyeballs?????? 8) Why did Kamui think C!S was E? 9) Is Tomoyo getting it on with Sohma? O.o 10) Is Hokuto ever going to appear in TRC? 11) Are CLAMP the root of all evil? I have more that I can't think of right now. Can anyone answer any of this questions? Even if it is theoretical, I'll be more than greatful! |

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU HAVE FINISHED TRC OR DON'T CARE (Hopefully your not on this thread if this is not the case.) 1) I think Clow loved Yuuko. As for her real name, I don't think it's ever revealed. 2) Like others have said, I think they are soulless dolls or something that keep the shop going. 3) The Clow that is Sakura's father and the Clow that knows Yuuko and all that are probably different Clows, from different worlds. Then again... nah. But... I think you'll have to ask CLAMP yourself for 100% closure on that question. 4) R!Syaoran's real name is Tsubasa, as is revealed at the end of the series, and he was from a different world, where he is the son of Syaoran and Sakura. He is sent to Yuuko's shop and went to Sakura's world for seven days, during which Fei Wong Reed puts a death curse on the Tsubasa of that world, aka Sakura, that will eventually kill her, and then he was sent back to Yuuko's shop because his time there was up. He chooses to go back to Clow Country at the price of never seeing his friends or family back home again, and spends years trying to find a way to cure Sakura (who is unaware of the curse along with almost everyone else; only Syaoran and Sakura's mom, and possibly Yukito, I don't remember, know). When the time comes for Sakura to die, Tsubasa, aka Syaoran, asks Yuuko to turn time back to the day Fei Wong Reed put the curse on Tsubasa, aka Sakura, in exchange for being Fei Wong Reed's prisoner. The series starts several years after time is wound back, with the Syaoran and Sakura clones made by Fei Wong Reed. 5) In Tokyo Babylon it's because Hokuto picks out/designs/makes his clothes. In TRC, it's probably the style of whatever world he came from. 6) Just because something is impossible doesn't mean that people don't wish for it and try to achieve it. As for why Clow, supposed to be super wise, tries it: love and grief can do funny things to people. -Thank you Wikipedia. If this explaination didn't make sense, try reading Wikipedia's. 7) The twins thing is probably a fetish. XD As for the eyes, one of the CLAMP members, I forget who, has something wrong with one of her eyes, so they do it as a sort of tribute to her. 8) This one I had to look up. "Bait," according to Kamui, are beings raised as food for beings who drink blood. They have no soul and are imitations in a human body. I guess Kamui could sense or somehow recognize that Syaoran, as a clone, did not have a soul and so assumed he was bait. Also, bait apparently have masters, which makes sense since they are created, as Kamui asked Fai if he was Syaoran's master. 9) Er, I really don't know. 10) I'm sorry to say that Hokuto doens't show up in TRC. D: That would have been super awesome if she did. 11) No, they are just evil queens who enjoy torturing their fans and characters. The real Sakura isn't there when the clone disappears so its kinda obvious. By the end, Tsubasa and Tsubasa, aka R!Syaoran and R!Sakura, are in love, the clone Syaoran and Sakura are in love, and Fai and Kurogane are too. Out of the traveling companions, the only one who is who they are supposed to be is Kurogane. Out of everybody, only Sakura, Syaoran, and Fai are not who they are supposed to be. Oh, and Watanuki sort of, seeing as he is R!Syaoran's replacement in the world with Yuuko's shop, aka the setting of xxxHolic and Tsubasa, aka R!Syaoran's home world. Whew! Okay, that was a lot. Can anyone tell me where I can read X? Online or anywhere. Why do my bookstores never carry the stuff I want to read?! Okay, I'm done now. This was fun! Let me know if I missed anything. Now everyone is this one happy incestuous family. 4) R!Syaoran is a paradox who should not exist. He is/becomes the "child" of C!Syaoran due to the timeloop. Though in the original timeline, R!Syaoran was the model that C!Syaoran was based off of. Then the time paradox happened, and R!Syaoran become the product of the timeloop by becoming his own clone's child. 5) Hokuto loves to play dress up with her pretty-uke-twin brother. And he looks so cute; how can she resist?! (Apparently Seishirou can...That is until X). No one can resist Subaru forever! 6) They all attempted to make the impossible possible and they all failed spectacularly. 7) Fetish fuel. 8) Hunger makes people think strange things. But E's are created for vampires; they're not real humans, so naturally he thought that Cloney was E. 9) If she can't get Sakura, she must get Souma. 10) Sadly, she does not and it sucks. 11) They are evil defined. |
