| What can I say, nothing much happens. That's how I perceived the chapter just like you saying that you "liked it". What? It's just Shika helping him out of his emo phase and him implying that he knows how to crack the code. Oooh big deal. Alot more stuff goes on in one chapter in One Piece/Bleach than in Naruto. |

| I know nothing happened, to be honest I am surprised Kakashi didn't get the code, it is obviously the pages and words in Jiraya's books. Shikamru is still my favorite character. And Naruto showed an ability that Sauske will never have, the ability to move on. |

| lol. I just noticed this now but when you add all the digits in Jiraiya's code, it adds up to 383, the same chapter in which he wrote that code. what if Kishimoto was just messing with the readers by making them meticulously analyze its meaning? O_O |

| Omg. I completely loved the chp this time. Shikamaru is my MOST FAVORITE character in Naruto, so this chapter has won my heart completely. I was smiling like a dork all the way through. (Kyaaa~ Shikamaru x3 *fangirls*) Also, I think the "It's time for us to be the ones who enthrust, not the enthursted" is pure win. ( + "Its troublesome, but I cant say that." <-- Shikamaru <333) |

| kurenai looked different somehow, maybe its cause ive seem more of her in the anime than in the manga. ( never mind the belly im talking about the face) well i figured they might quickly do away with the emo since the "enemies" are already on the move. they sent so much time on sasuke, now they gotta spend a whole lot of time explaining everything...or alteast most things. (and maybe the cool ability naruto will get.... -><- ) i keep thinking that those are the pages in the ero-novels he kept writing....? |

| I'm kinda getting more interested in what kind of relationship will Kurenai and Shikamaru will have?! Asume saying to him; that he entrusts her and the baby to him. What?! He will be the acting-father?! Hahahaha! Although, it's kinda okay to be an acting-father to the child; but how about Kurenai? Wahahaha! I liked the chapter; not just something repeatative like the Sasuke emoness. It's good the pacing is getting normal. Yet, somehow slow; but it's good now. |

| I really liked Shikamaru in this chapter too, he's really mature and caring.^^ And he has at least one in-manga fangirl.XD But yeah its pretty weird that no one knows about the serious book that Jiraiya wrote. I mean wouldn't it be one of the first things you would think of? |

| Shikamaru's thoughts were nice, but to have the entire chapter revolve around it, with only one chapter per week coming out...It just makes the pacing too damn slow. He could've had the whole thing within half the pages and still kept the impact. He didn't need to show the girl with the glasses so much, or have Pa explain how Jiraiya gave him the message again, or with so much detail. The chapters read well when you read several of them at a time, but this is another good example of how Kishimoto really doesn't work well with the one chapter per week format. He just gives us a whole bunch of details that we really don't need. |
