| ^^ Spotted that did ya? xD I'm sure we would love to read about anything you feature, but actually I had just been thinking recently (even though I did forget lol) that we need to show more love to Miyazaki. And, those are my two favorite films of his! so either one would be great. :D Also, since I've got so much on my plate right now, I'm going to need you to do the next music feature. It is going to be Hirasawa, Susumu, an excellent musician. If you look on his mal page I linked to, it has the animes he has contributed to. Just do this one like normal, and you can use on of the cool pix they have for him on that page. Unless, you find a bigger one that is high quality. I love this guy, so I want this to do him justice. But, it doesn't ave to be real long or anything. You can use the info posted about him on the mal page, just change the source to from MAL and wikipedia. | @SouLovE ~ just reminding you to post that featured film you picked on Jan 26 (next Thursday) ~ no later than the end of that weekend plz c= another reminder ------- it is almost time to start the new season's cards - you did a great job of keeping up with this last round. I know it can seem overwhelming sometimes. The good thing is I took on more than half the list, gave you some of the less popular shows, and there was no mini newsletter that drew in a bunch of requests. This time it there will be at least another page to deal with. I am thinking though that there will be less cards to make too. Anyway, everything is still on schedule at this point, so you can expect the list of what to make in about two weeks... that is if the newsletters get sent out on time. I'm working on it now, and IceDradconian has said he should be able to deliver it on time. |

| okay IceDraconian! Thanks for letting us know! I'm glad you dropped by cuz I need to tell you the schedule. At this time we're looking at sending them out first thing fri or sat on Jan 27 or 28. But def by the end of that weekend. The polls are going to be opening sometime this weekend instead. I've got to check the progress of all new shows. But this will give it time for some replies to hit the polls before the newsletter is sent. :D @all staff ~ we're approaching 300+ members. We'll be doing an LE for it like usual, which includes one or two cards for everyone who participates at 20 requests for members. Anyone who would like to join should start working on their cards now. We could hit the 300 soon or next week. The thread will prob open next weekend though. So let's set next Wednesday as the deadline for submissions! No one has to join, but everyone should know they are welcome to if they want. Just post your cards in this discussion if you do want to participate. Whether you make 1 or 2 cards, members will be able to get 1, and staff can have 2. |

| ***UPDATE TO 300+LE PARTICIPANTS!!! Due to various factors, the 300+ LE will be postponed to Feb. 3, regardless of when we hit 300 members. (Fri after next). That means you have until Feb. 2 (Thur after next) to post your card codes. You can still post them here whenever you get finished, but they don't have to be in til Thursday after next. ***In other STAFF news... Also, Kittilicious and I have decided to make all the staff admins so you guys can edit the LE threads with your requests. Do NOT edit anything else please, as the coding is still fried. We are also reopening the hiring thread to get some extra help so everyone doesn't get overwhelmed, and thing get updated quicker. We'll be adding games supervisor,another news poster, and another openings and endings updater. Please don't feel anyone is being replaced. We're just getting some extra workers to take the pressure off you guys. For now this all we're hiring, but we may hire more extra workers as the club continues to grow. @IceDraconian~ The newsletter will go out on time IceDraconian, and I would like it to be delivered as soon as you can this weekend. Since there are so many members, it is okay if you do it in blocks, as long it is all done by Monday. If there is going to be a problem with completing this on time, let us know so we can figure something out. |

| @IceDraconian~ Great! I'll have it ready sometime Friday and post the whole code here. You are just to copy and paste everything exactly how it is. If you notice a mistake, like a spelling error or code problem, fix it if it is really minor, or let me know immediately if it is major. I did a lot of work yesterday on the image for it. So I should def have it ready by late Friday nite for sure. I'm not sure if you're aware, but there is a 20 sec limit between posting comments. That's why we had to hire someone to do this job. It takes twice as long to deliver these with the limit. And, I did mean Feb of course. xP Thanks for offering help on the seasonal cards but that's SouLovE's job. The guess the anime pic thread counts as a game. It is our most popular game. If there is a pic up no one knows you can ask the person to give a hint after 3 days or so. but you don't have to. You can just bump a different game to keep things interesting. Our members pretty much keep that one alive on their own. So if that one's going you can either bump another one for a total of 2 games going, or just leave it as the only one going if it's had a lot of activity. OH~ and we are very relaxed here. So... if there is absolutely no activity going on (like for a whole day)... you can bump as many games as you want. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask. About LEs and SEs: You can now have whatever the staff limit is. Most of the time, it is both of the two cards offered, but just check the rules each time to make sure. You can do this by dropping an invite card onto their page, or by using the club page function (if you need directions on how to do it just let me know). The best way is prob to do both of these, because it is not easy to see all that our club offers at first when someone comes to check it out. Therefore, we have to send out a LOT of invites to get members to join versus other clubs like the Miku Fanclub where people automatically know what it is. Sooo... we want you inviting people whenever you get the chance. Right now we're trying to reach 400 members. I sent out 75-100 invites myself yesterday (of those only 10 have joined- you get the idea). Kittilicious (the other club's creator) and I both will be inviting with you to hit that next goal. We may in the future hire another inviter as well, depending on how many people you can get to join and how often you can do it. So just invite people when you get bored when we're not trying for a certain goal. We have a lot of stuff in this club as you prob already know, so we have room for many members. More members means less work for the staff and more chances to meet new people who share common interests. :D Your job here is listed under job descriptions in the first post of this thread if you ever need a reminder of what you should be doing. If would like us to post some of our invite cards for you to use (these prob work better than the club invite function), then let me know. I realized just now that I use to post my number as 033 and then for some reason I know have been posting it as 003 forgetting that I had posted it 033.........I know, its confusing to myself, trust me! lol So sorry for the pain in the buttness........I went ahead and fixed it with the request post. :-) |

| @IceDraconian~ thanks for reposting the list - I had planned to do that next week. But it's one less I have to worry about. Let's just wait and see if stylzx requests, and we can ask him if he wants his number reserved then. @ Hypercardiac~ You could have 007 if it wasn't in the middle of our count in LE and SE threads... So, unfortunately you'll have to go with a number above 21 that's not already reserved. Just make sure you like 25 cuz you'll be keeping it for a while if you confirm it. You don't have to reserve a number though. You can change it up every time as long it doesn't interfere with the count on threads or someone else's reserved number. (I know 007 is cool sorry :D) @Kittilicious~ don't forget about rose93, our new games supervisor. :) Her info is back on the last page. ^^ |
