Alright, we are now at the final chapter of this ridiculously intriguing interquel manga of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime and I just have to say this...
DAMN! WHAT ON?! OH MY GOODNESS!!!
...
A 5/5 rating has been raised for the plot's consistency's been consistent yet it's so ABRUPT!
Go figure it yourselves.

I think this was really good. I will say that when kyubey lost is head i laughed. That was the funniest part of this entire thing. The rest was good though. Madoka got killed which i thought was good. The action was good, the plot was amazing, and the ending was also good. I just wish that this was longer. It could of maybe of been double the length, or atleast another 3 chapters.

I agree with what you say about the length of the manga. In my point of view, there could have been more that were seen that might escalate more intriguing contents that might attract more readers. All seriousness, I really love to see a third volume of this manga considering that I really love the characterizations of each of the characters present, even Kyuubey the Manipulative Weasel Mascot Bastard.

I really want to see this animated.
As a movie, perhaps.

At first it seemed like all was good. Oriko and Kirika are defeated, Everyone is still alive, and Kyubey got his head blown off.
Then BAM!
Stab to the heart.
Time reset.

It's actually pretty hilarious when you think about it, yet tragic.
Overall, I loved it.

My only question now is where Oriko, Kirika, and Yuma were in the other timelines. Were they witches? Did they make a contract? Were they just erased out of existence? I heard one theory that Yuma may have been was killed along with her parents in the other timelines, but that's it.

Same here, like make it a two parter OVA or what and throw in some more story into it because it is so good.

This is quite amusing, considering that almost everyone made it through this timeline but then our ditzy Madoka was the one who got killed instead. Poor Homuhomu-chan, when the story was already on the verge of a happy ending that 's when the Diabolus Ex Machina sets in and... *gets a roll of tissue papers*

BTW, when Kyuubey's head was cut off, I was like "GOOD KIRIKA-CHAN! GIVE HIM WHAT HE DESERVES!" but then he wasn't the target AT ALL! Damn! (Diabolus Ex Machina was casted all the way).

That is probably one thing that TvTropes say "What Happened To The Mouse?" wherein a minor plot point or character that disappears from the narrative without resolution. Probably that they were good guys battling somewhere just like the Pleiades Saints of the Puella Magi Kazumi Magica: The Innocent Malice are doing.
BTW, where did you hear that theory?

Heh, this was surprisingly good! They need to adapt it into a OVA. I'd love that to happen.

The Black/White mage combo is deadly as hell. Took 4 Puella Magi to beat them.

Madoka died.. Who saw that coming?

Wow, was a great ending! I was so engrossed in what was going on, I forgot that something horrible had to happen to Madoka for this timeline to end with a reset. Once the scream happened, I know who it was. But I did not expect that Oriko was aiming for Madoka all along. I really thought her target was Kyuubei.

Oriko was definitely an interesting character. I wonder what happens with her in all the other timelines? And was the whole series just her seeing into the future? At the end, it kinda seemed like she was talking about everything as if it was in the future. And then in the other timelines, Kirika stops her? Or did she not go through with it to protect Kirika?

I felt the same way with this ending as I did with the anime series, some things unexplained, but I really feel like the main story is over. (Madoka's story with the anime, and Oriko's story with the manga). 9/10 Loved this series. I will recommend it to anyone who watched and liked the original series.

I wonder what happened to Yuma in the other timelines? Oh well, I guess we'll never now.
Next up, i'll have to start reading the Kazumi manga.

This was interesting. I was a bit confused at first but I understood how everything added up in the end.

I am usually an anime watcher, over a manga reader, but I am a fan of Madoka so wanted to try this. I'm not sure if it is just me but the art style seemed a bit weird for me, sometimes I had to have a long look at a page to figure out what was happening, but I guess that is just manga in general, you can only show so much xD.

The story was short but good. I am also curious to see where these characters were in the main and other timelines.

Kyubey getting his head blown off was the best part.

Also for someone with no emotion, he actually seemed kind of evil in this:

So enjoyable, if not a bit short. Now onto the other mangas.

It was...so...awful. Terrible art (so much emphasis on boobs, and the sharp hair and faces!), weird plot, choppy scene transitions, and the new characters weren't developed at all. It felt like the main girls were only in there to draw people in, because they didn't do much. Sayaka could've been left out entirely. Kyouko had no reason to be there, other than to be attached to Yuma, who...just healed the other girls and didn't have any other influence on the story. Mami...she gave Kirika more spotlight (which was needed for a new character) so I guess she's not pointless here.

After all this mess, I still don't understand why Kirika was going around killing Puella Magi. And if Oriko wanted to kill Madoka, why not just stalk her and kill her when she's alone? Going through the school's P.A. system and doing all that theatrical crap was pointless.

Introducing Oriko as a mysterious "whose side could she be on?" figure, then trying to make her out as some kind of antihero with a sad backstory, was cheap and lacked any kind of depth. We could've had an interesting scene where she and Homura talked, since - holy shit! - Oriko is the only one aside from Homura who'd know about what would happen during Walpurgisnacht! But no, let's waste time with the crazy edgy Kirika and the Yuma subplot that goes nowhere.

Minor nitpick: since when can Homura create barriers against familiars? (i.e. the one shielding Madoka)

2/10 wish I hadn't read it.

In the end it felt pretty meaningless, like in the first volume Yuma was basically a protagnost, and in the second one she just disappeared lol. I liked Oriko's and Kirika's designs and their dynamics seemed fun, but their stories weren't developed at all. I'm just sad for Madoka, she's pretty much a center figure of this conflict, appears in like two scenes useless, and then even dies off screen? Ooookay. 6/10
