| gohan's training days were pretty fun to watch actually. they rushed a bit but i hope they don't drag the whole thing too much. |
| It's kind of weird to hear Kuririn's voice sound like Luffy's voice from One Piece in the beginning shouting Goku! lol. |

| Another enjoyable episode of Kai. I can't believe Vegeta and Nappa's conversation about Gohan was omitted though, that was actually manga material and not filler. :\ |
| I started to like the new opening song. ^.^ But snake way episodes were boring to watch in the original so i hope the keep rushing it. :/ |

| If I had anything to do with the production of DBK I would definatly keep rushing it until Nappa and Vegeta land. That is where DBZ really started to shine IMO. |

| They are pacing it very well, I remember the long snake arc bit, that was dragged out so much but hopefully this time it isn't. Good episode though, bit of funny bits and the next episode looks promising. Oh what the hell the whole series looks promising! |
| I hope the snake way arc dosen't last too long. when I was reading the manga Goku seemed to reach the end alot faster than he did in the DBZ anime, not to mention cutting stuff like Goku falling into hell, and Princess Snake out. |

| something is pretty strange with the pace, one moment things are rushed. second later it's being slow, but before i had time to go with it the episode had finished xD the death jokes always had killed me. and gohan voice/behaviour making me wet from laugh. |
| Gohan will begin his training with Piccolo. Gohan has a lot of potential, so now all that needs to be done is for him to properly harness it. Krillin's the one that has to tell the bad news to Chi-Chi lol. Good luck with that |
| It's been a long time since I watched the original Dragon Ball, but on top of this being one of the tightest, most satisfyingly structured arcs ever, the first scene that made me want to write a post was Piccolo's kidnapping and training of Gohan. Gohan, raised with a relatively normal childhood under ChiChi is a world of difference from the young spawn of Demon King Piccolo we once knew. When Piccolo was born he was alone in the world, and he took over his father's ambition. Violence and domination is all he has known, and unlike Goku where marital arts has been a symbol of family, brotherhood, passion; for Piccolo, violence has only ever been a means to his end. I think that's why seeing a kid who is the polar opposite of his own childhood self in all but strength is very fascinating. They bounce off each other in very fun ways. |
