| Season 2. Sure season one was very good and all but things seemed to get a bit darker and deeper in season 2 which I really liked. The only part of season one that I really prefered over season 2 is Kogitsune. I wish he would have made an appearance in season 2. I can only imagine how funny it would be to see Taki meeting him. |

| I prefer the second season over the first, I still enjoy them both tremendously, but I thought the character development and interactions were stronger in the second season. I really loved the many parts that focused on Natsume's relationship with people he is living with [their names escape me]. I also like the darker themes present and the creepiness of the youkai. The axe guy and the one that was hunting Taki were supremely creepy - which was just awesome. |

Honestly, Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou was the one which made me started to fall in love with the whole series. | Wow, what a question, huh? I personally like the 2nd season better because of the slightly darker tones and a bit more in the way of story arcs and background provided. But season 1 is still my feel-good anime and holds a very special place in my heart. |

| I love both of them. Ugh, I can't decide. I never really saw much difference between the 2 seasons. Although, I did like the first season finale better than the second. ^-^ |

| both are good, wait I'm late :( watching natsume yuujinchou make me feel warm, calm and make this same feeling whenever I watch the series, all those 4 seasons are great, the last season is the best :D |
| I really liked season 1 and usually the second season of most anime pales in comparison but I enjoyed the season season even more!!! Can't expect anything less. Granted when I first started watching, no one knew about it. Even now, I still think it's underrated....murr. One of the few anime that makes you feel a broad range of emotions. I'll never get tired of it =D |
