| I'm listing this as episode 10 And the special before episode one, I considered it episode 0 (Going with whatever the Chinese sub groups are listing them as) Since the discussion is already here...~ Recap episode~ I was rather nice, you can see Giselle's thoughts in the previous episodes About why she was depressed, sad, or crying It's not completely a recap episode It was flashbacks while Giselle wrote her letter home Anyways, I'm starting the think that Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam, is ignoring the existence on the exile o_o So much more foreshadowing on the Grand Race~~~ |

| Translating the letter: -- I thought about coming ashore of the Silvius because I though(t) I was wrong person for Fam's navigator. I also hurt Fam who said she cannot fly alone. Fam is doing more than her best for everybody, but I was thinking just about myself and taking out my frustration with other people on. I am so ashamed of myself!! Millia was also (languishing?) over many things. Seeing Millia trying her best to do something for Fam made me awake. I will make Fam smile and that is what I really want to do, therefore, I have decided to stay with Fam and Millia at Silvius for little longer. I will (hang?) in here and I wish we can re-open the Grand Race in the free sky soon. _______________________________Giselle Collette Hi, Atamola. We captured 15 skyfish!! It will surely be me, Fam Fan Fan, who wins the new Grand Race. -- At the second line I think they left out a 't', it looks exactly the same as 'thought' on the first line. (languishing?) - the middle part is confusing but I think this is the word (hang?) - 'h/ming' doesn't make any sense and nothing with -ing fits. spaces don't show up so I used a long underline I'm sorry for any mistakes but feel free to point them out and correct it! Some weird engrish is to be expected. Nothing else really in this mostly recap episode |

| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- ... Wow Disappointed by this recap episode ! We got to see something Gisele's point of view a little more but... Seriously, that's all thing we already knew ! I want to know more about Exile and about the Federation but seems like all we're getting lately is Fam, Fam, Fam, Fam. This whole episode was a Recap to conclude with Fam and her Grand Race and how she is working hard... Ugh! It's not that I dislike her but... oh well |

| Haters gonna hate I guess... First off, I normally am not a fan of recaps, but... I thought this recap was great and I needed a little summary. It was nice seeing a bit of the story from Giselle's and Millia's point of view. The recap helped explain what Giselle was feeling more than the previous episode. |
