| Nyantenshi! <3 How cute! I'm not very sure what sex Nyanpire is.. In the opening it says 'she', but in the last episode the Samunyan asked if it was 'otoko' which is boy/man, but it got translated as 'tomcat' and a tomboy is a girl dressing up as a boy.. Definitely confusing! |
| The opening says "she", because fansubbers just copy-paste the introduction, and in the first ep they didn't know. And it's more nyaoi than the previous ep. |

Definitely confusing! A Tom or Tomcat is commonly used to refer to a male cat in English. Im actually wondering if it may have been used a bit tongue in cheek as tomcat is also used as slang to refer to a man who is bit of a philanderer and our nyanpire certainly is putting himself around a bit although he is after blood and not sex. Im quite enjoying this series so far, they are kind of like the weekly newspaper cartoon strip - short, sweet and just enough to raise the spirits after a crappy day without you having to really think about them. |
