 The Kill Ao (Kill Blue) presentation at Jump Festa 2026's Jump Station stage revealed cast, key visual (pictured), and a promotional video on Sunday. The anime, adapting Tadatoshi Fujimaki's action comedy manga, is scheduled to premiere in April 2026.Cast Juuzou Oogami (Adult): Shunsuke Takeuchi (Akudama Drive) Juuzou Oogami: Yuuko Sanpei (Boruto) Noren Mitsuoka: Fuuka Izumi (Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan) Kotatsu Nekota: Shuuichirou Umeda (Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals) Tenma Tendou: Takeo Ootsuka ([Oshi no Ko]) Chisato Shiraishi: Atsumi Tanezaki (Mahoutsukai no Yome) Eri Wanibuchi: Yumi Uchiyama (Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei) Hiro Kaburagi (Great Pretender) is directing the anime at Cue. Miho Daidouji (Ao Ashi sub-character design) is designing the characters. Fujimaki (Kuroko no Basket) began drawing the action comedy manga in Weekly Shounen Jump in April 2023. Shueisha published the tenth volume on July 4, with the 11th volume scheduled for release on September 4. VIZ Media licensed the manga for English release in October 2024, and published the second volume on August 5, with the third volume scheduled for October 14 release.
