Possibility of RWBY going to MyAnimeList thanks to Viz Media.

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, or good night, whatever time you're reading this post :)

Since RWBY was acquired by Viz Media in 2024, is there a possibility of RWBY going to the MyAnimeList?

Despite the MAL's rules, can RWBY be added even though it's American and not a 100% japanese anime?

After all, Viz Media would never have bought the rights to RWBY if they didn't see potential in the show. And since the company is only and exclusively about animes and mangas, does that qualify RWBY as an anime and could it be added to the MAL catalog in the future?

If RWBY manages to get on the site, it would only show the resounding success and power that a 2013 web series possesses.

Viz has also licensed Castlevania and Seis Manos, despite neither of them being on MAL. If you want a database which considers style/influence, I recommend Kitsu, because as it stands, MAL would need to change the guidelines to allow RWBY.
