| Hi guys, If you're browsing this place and don't know who I am, you may not care to read this, but I'll give some context for what will follow. I used to be a french marxist posting on a regular basis, sharing my political views against what I viewed to be dangerous ideas. While debating, I've done some hurtful comments, insulted and even threatened, and was in a general manner really immature and mean spirited. I think it's time I apologize for that. I'm sorry to the people I've antagonized and hurt, I have been acting like a child. This is especially true for my fellow countryman @Meusnier. Pardon l'ami, c'est toi qui avait raison. I was wrong on many things, life here and my journey across the north has taught me to see identity in a new light. We should build our societies upon what our fathers did, not destroy it. I was a fool to believe any good could come out of the vile succession of murders we call Revolution. To those I used to call comrades, I also want to say sorry. I've changed. You were kind to me in all of our exchanges in the past, but I can't call myself a marxist or even a leftist now. France matters to me, its people, its history, its blood. I'm nothing without my country. So here it is, sorry everyone, I hope you're all doing fine. I wish you all the best... and may start posting stuff here soon again, I've stopped walking for the winter :) Good day to all !  |
