| Yeah no, it’s on us if we think something was actually going to happen. You know, Marin’s inner monologue was one half Shakespearean tragedy, one half hormonal panic, while Gojo’s just sitting there like, “Wow, this is the discovery of the 21st century. What a game” Seriously, dude could have been two feet from death by seduction and still be analyzing the stupid stuff. The disconnect between her spiraling and his IKEA-level obliviousness was peak Dress-Up Darling energy. I.. no, all of us could see this coming from a light year away. Sheesh, forget about confession and stuff. Ain’t happening this season. Marin can make her mind all she likes. |

| This was one of my fave episodes of this series so far and I know I’ve said that several times this season, but there’s been so many good ones in season 2. It does feel like things are progressing and they’re upping the ante which I’m enjoying a lot! Not Marin thinking today was going to be the big day she and Gojo take that next step lmao, she even brought out the lucky underwear. Poor thing. NO WAIT SHE ACTUALLY HAS AN AHEGAO SWEATSHIRT LMAOOO WTF?? Gojo’s face when he saw what she left out for him is so funny I really wanna play that VN nun game now. It got dark as hell when Gojo was playing it at night. “I’m totally going to tell Gojo that I love him” even though they didn’t hook up, Marin knows now she can’t keep running from her feelings and needs to come clean with Gojo. I’m really happy for her and hopefully she gets to tell him soon. Even tho I’m not the biggest fan of this show, I feel like there’s been a lot of progress in this season and it’s been nice to see. |

| Marin even wearing her battle underwear, but she was really nervous. And Gojou not realising what was going on. Still it's nice to see Marin in her weak moments as well so was really shy and messed up. Luckily she was still conscious enough to scare away those leeches aka those guys. |
| Quite the Spice bait episode we have today. The bold, vibrant girl named Marin became the blushing soft voiced maiden today for real. The way her entire personality took a 180 turn, the way she answered gojo for everything, it was adorable & funny at the same time. Its the first time we are seeing this side of her & i love it. Her going through all the mental gymnastics and being a complete mess, imagining every scenario and preparing for everything. (She even remembered the fact that she indirectly made gojo prepared to by giving him protection on their hotel shoot) xD Also gojo wearing the ahegao shirt was priceless & marin without contacts as well was adorbs in a way. She even went far as to prepare the lingerie battle armor for it which made me laugh a little but that was thoughtful ngl and give marin props for that. More imaginations running wild for marin considering they havent even done anything physical intimate contact till now and now its all gonna come down at once.  I like how she took the time to notice and explore these physical boundaries and relationship between her & gojo. Especially when gojo was on top of her the realization striking her cause she might have never considered the fact that gojo might take the inititative one day & also not seeing him in that different "aura" phase yet. Then she slowly calms down and resets herself properly which tbh is not easy so again nicely done & was a good decision. Food for the win. Poor gojo was just clueless at this point. The family convo was wholesome. Baby marin was adorable and her shenanigans with her dad even more. i keep forgetting marins og hair was black. Anyways all the exhaustion from panic and nervousness settles in and marin falls asleep. Gojo being the sweet gentleman he is tucks her in properly. The coffin gameplay was quite something and gore af. Talk about a loving family. Gojo bracing through all that in one night bro just tanked it. Marin finally wakes up and then gets hit with reality and truth behind the energy drinks finally. Gojos after thoughts & reactions to the series were just being enjoyed by shinju & inui in the video call like the veterans they are watching a newbie fall into their cult. Meanwhile jujus making a wig for shinju which is nice seeing how much she supports her little sisters cosplay. Back to marin having a bit of aftermath after her realization and misunderstanding. The bit of panic sets back. (white lingerie is tasteful, who knows gojo might like it) :3 We get more innerthoughts from marin about her relationship with gojo. Glad that shes becoming more positive towards the approach of confessing & dating him, taking their relationship further but then the fear of rejection also settles in which could harm their current relationship too & make it awkward which is understandable. It also doesnt help she hasnt seens gojos real feelings towards her cause most of the time the question pops of them dating, gojo has always denied it with a little extra emotions. (most probably cause hes flustered and thinks hes not good enough for her)  Finally one of the famous manga panels gets animated even though its a little comically sad one. Poor marin goes into a small depression mode. Gojo prepares some tasty food for her which helps cheering her up a bit but shes still in thoughts. Then marin almost confessing during the walk to station and then more inner monologues about her changes in behavior towards gojo. Its the little things that start it all. It was kind of a good thing tbh those jerks hitting on marin cause it put her mind right back on track to focus on what she wants now cause shes the go getter girl who gets things done. So marin finally decides she will confess after the cosplay shoot. Now that will something to look forward to.  Great episode. Lot of developments from marin side which we needed. Next is the big coffin cosplay shoot, cant wait! |

| The misunderstanding was amusing and hilarious. That game though, man that was creepy, like tf was that. Reminded me of Doki Doki literature club. Also Marin down bad but the more she falls in love the more worried she gets about what if it doesn't work out and given Gojou's personality I can see why. I hope she finds the courage. You can do it girl. |

| Great episode as always. As expected, nothing happen between Gojo and Marin. It was just a simple misunderstanding so yeah. Coffin seems like a type of game I would play, I would love to play it if it actually becomes a game. I am BEGGING that Gojo and Marin get together by the end of this season because I have been wanting them to get together ever since the first episode of this anime. They're just so fun and I love them both. 5/5 |

@AcceleratorAngel it's not the no tits part that's disappointing, we already knew that was going to happen because they did that back in S1 too. Its the fact that every single instance of fanservice from the manga chapters they adapted this episode felt so toned down and underwhelming, you can clearly tell the studio was shying away heavily from the fanservice. The fanservice wasn't toned down to this extent in S1 as they did in this ep. I already had low expectations but I still feel disappointed.

During season 1 I bought a bunch of marin figurines, yup they can go to hell for submitting to the tourist audience. Cn and south korea rule the gacha scene not long before they will also dominate the anime market. While jp submits to the woke crowd and loses their identity. |

| I know there's the elephant in the room that I'll be glossing over first, but that creepy game! Seriously, I could totally feel Gojou's fear, that's a wickedly directed game. How're you supposed to play that at night all by yourself in the dining room? I'm not good with horror at all so I don't doubt that I'll ever end up in that situation but boy, that was something else. Normal energy drink, of course that was going to be the case xD. We got some great fanservice though. Gal energy for the win, break through them barriers! Getting those reactions though, I can understand how real they feel and damn it hurts... |

| Marin preparing/anticipating what she thinks is going to be her first time with Gojo was adorable to see. That was one hell of a sweater she made Gojo wear haha. Oh boy, that video game took a turn for the worst as expected. Later on, Marin convinces herself to finally confess her feelings to Gojo, but quickly convinces herself of not doing it after imagining the worst case scenario, until... she almost says it, but actually she might say it after their group cosplay. Ah, one's first love sure makes them think and overthink everything :) Let's see where it goes from there! |

On a real note though poor Marin, she had her hopes up just in the end for her to have the wrong idea. I really hope Gojo finally realizes his feelings towards her and for him to confess I really want this series to have a happy satisfying ending man. |

| Well, that went about as well as I expected lol. But Marin with straight hair and no lens was seriously very cute. It's so unlike her usual self. In the end nothing really happened as I expected. But I was hoping things would be a bit spicier than the love hotel episode which it wasn't. But can't really say I was disappointed. It was still a good episode. Damn that horror game was actually crazy. It's something that I could probably see myself playing at some point if it were a real game. Shinju is basically me after playing most action horror games like Resident Evil or Dying Light. I just can't get enough of the gore. Granted, this was more of a psychological thing. Meanwhile Gojo is how I used to be when playing The House of the Dead and OG Resident Evil 2 and 3 as a little kid lol. Crazy how much appreciation I have for horror now, considering how much I used to hate them. Anyway, Marin is very insecure now. She wants to confess but she doesn't know if Gojo would accept. Heck, even I can't tell if he'd accept or not. He seems to be the type who'd think he's not good enough for Marin and then reject her and then their relationship would become weird. Hopefully it'll go well once Marin does eventually confess. This is going to be great. |
| What a great Episode. I had a great giggle at Gojos new Shirt and how Marin slowly pulls him into the Otaku side. Also, Marin being shy as hell was also super cute. Also Marin getting all shy and nervous of wanting to confess to Gojo but then hesitate... I was (and still am) rooting so much for Marin. You got this Girl! The only thing that I found a bit off-putting was the Horrorgame section within this Episode. I felt the topic of this Horrorgame was a little bit too heavy for a show that is otherwise very lighthearted and cute and too. Also man , this show made me crave Monster Energy. |

| Coffin is terrifying and is such a ridiculously cool concept for a game. It's no wonder these cosplayers are crazy for the titles they're cosplaying for because damn, it's unreal how much they fleshed out the in-univsese media of this show. Watching Marin be all ultra-flustered while Gojo is way calmer than normal is gold lol |
| Holy shit, what an incredible roller coaster of emotions. Something about this show has me completely bought in---the hilarious tension in the beginning, followed by the equally-hilarious horror, then the sappy, painful, intimate longing... probably my anime of the year. |
| The scene with misunderstanding and light fanservice is of course funny, but the scene with the game in the genre of psychological horror is a small masterpiece, and Gouja's reaction after lack of sleep is predictable. |

We not getting a love confession before season 3 and I would be surprised if we got one then. Feels like they are going to make us wait until almost the end of the series (which I hope isn't the case, but won't surprise me).

And, why would anyone expect that very different medium would or should be exactly alike. What would then be the point of using more that one media? |

| I gotta say props to the people behind this show/manga for coming up with such a authentic visual novel type of game for Gojo to play, like some of my favourite games behind that genre are the type of games which are horror but for a while hide themselves behind the anime cute façade the most popular example behind Doki Doki literature club and they made a really authentic take on one. But yeah understandable his reaction that stuff ain't for everyone. While obviously nothing technically happened with Gojo and Marin getting worked up it did kinda serve to push their relationship forward indirectly, in that it got Marin super conscious of Gojo and how that kinda situation would go. Obviously she's loved him for a while but like that kinda gave her almost like a sneak peak into what it would be like if they really dated she's a lot more innocent then she acts honestly. really good episode, I really hope we get more Gojo/Marin 1 on 1 moments |
