It was more of a very heavy dialogue episode. It was just Klein trying to figure out why shit happened and how shit happened since he first entered this world. No action at all in this episode, which is great.

And about the slice of life moments, it was a lie, that shit didnt even last for 3 minutes lol.

Anyway, more of a 'connecting the dots' episode that tries to tie the previous six episodes together. I expect the upcoming episodes would focus more about Klein transmigration and the mastermind behind all of those 'coincidence'

I cant really rate this episode since it was just like a build up episode, but it was still a good episode nonetheless.

Hmmm so the path of the seer is not all powerful. Yet it seems a path most apt in acquiring knowledge, and knowledge is power.

@pixelante
It didn’t say the path of a seer isn’t powerful. It just says Divination isn’t all that powerful and it is supposed to highlight the humility of a seer when it comes to fate. The seer pathway is more than just divination. And the higher up you ascend, the more powerful you are able to overcome divination blocks. Just as Klein was able to overcome the block as soon as he digested the potion fully to become a full sequence 9 seer and figured out the location of the mastermind

Damn,that was a masterpiece storytelling!!
That woman with the baby, carrying Lavenus's kid..so he belonged to the Aurora order and he sacrificed himself and some others to bring the True creator back into this world into the body of his kid. And that stolen skull used to perform this ceremony was actually Azik's son skull.. it's crazy how things got connected..
❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
It's no wonder that the woman was saying weird things about the baby.

@supremeone55 Takopi is rated higher than LOTM even though it doesn't have any good fight scenes.
The fundamental problem is that the plot is bad. Next would be the background music, I guess.

Bad plot ...?

what are you watching. Because it doesn't seem you are watching same story as us.

Takopi has better emotional episode and scene but no, takopi plot is nowhere near lotm. And in story this episode put a lot on front. 🤷

@supremeone55 I think a lot of people are already completely lost, plotwise, which makes it hard to appreciate this episode. I actually rewatched the first 5 episodes, both because the visuals are a joy to watch, but also to grasp the plot, which I kind got lost in because it's such a sensory overload the first time ^^

Hmm.. so a certain group is trying to resurrect "the true creator" and Klein's got set up in the whole mess. That pregnant lady seems to be one from 1st episode.
Well that's what I got from this episode, let's see where it goes.

@phantomfandom yes and no.
I started to read the novel and I'm currently at more or less the same point of story as donghua is now.
"Yes" because it's easier to understand what's going on.
"No" because donghua tries to compromise and changed/shuffled/omitted a lot, so purists are not happy about it lol.
Compromise is usually just like that, not being able to fully satiate either of sides...

I enjoy novel a lot, it is a lot more humbling and down to earth for Klein; in animation he's just promoted to be Nighthawk and that's it. His skills, knowledge, being able to go on missions, his role among them... it's so random and confusing at times. In novel there's a lot of "training arcs", he's starting from the scratch and most of what he learns is through his hard work, and being "Seer" only enhances his learning capacity but that's it.

But I guess I enjoyed this episode! It was climatic, music was good.
I guess the animation level dropped a biiit (more of background static faces). but I guess it's no wonder given how high quality it's maintaining so far, so I don't mind.
Also, at least Klein learned from the last episode and he didn't dare to look directly at True Creator.
I'm a bit curious what Klein would see if he managed to activate his Sight in time before the pregnant lady darted out (he tried to, but he was a second too late).
Lavenus is alive, he left the site of ritual and didn't participate...

Also, if you wonder about Doomsday... just go back to episode 1 and watch again its premise.
Tingen Doomsday is 9th September. This episode 20th August.

This episode is closest to how it feels to read the novel, just a more brief version of it. This is more what it should have been like rather than full of aura farming moments. Also the reactions and theories are fun to read as a novel reader because I like seeing the thought process of people who don’t know what’s going to happen. This is my favorite episode behind episode 6 so far. I wish they stuck to this but I guess the strategy was to pull people in with fights so they would stay and watch further in, even though as a novel reader I think it would have stood up fine without spamming fights at the beginning.

A big take-away of this episode is that the whole grey fog palace, in case of Klein's Seer potion digestion, actually ended up working against him. Unlike other Seers who'd run into the limitations of divination much earlier, Klein was able to rely on it more than others because the grey fog acted as a sort of "enhancer" and could shield a lot of interference causing Klein to value divination more than he should at his level and kept him unable to acknowledge that divination is not an all-powerful tool.

Yet the irony is that in the end it was this big mastermind that's like a hanging sword over Klein's neck at all times and no one can see through them, including someone like Azik who is clearly stronger than Daly at Sequence 7 of the same pathway and is thus at least Sequence 6 or stronger, while they use coincidences to arrange everything according to their will that helped Klein break through this final bottleneck of the Seer sequence and now enabled Klein to reach a level that above the grey fog can actually penetrate the interference of the mastermind for the first time. Now the mastermind has a vulnerability, because clearly Klein above the grey fog now has a means to fight back against the mastermind to some extent.

The problem is, he can just barely fight back while above the grey fog (after finding the red chimney, it was immediately hidden again) and seems to still be powerless as Klein, so can Klein really make use of it in any practical way? It remains to be seen.

I cannot wait to see how Klein will fcrack down "acting as a clown" to fully digest his next sequence lol.

As for guessing bigger picture... isn't it obvious after this episode that since the very beginning Klein is forcibly pushed into a direction of that highest peak of Hornacis mountains and alas a part of machinations they left behind to make it possible for their family to revive. I can even take a very long guess that the origin of that supernatural fog space and that worm-like tencacles also are strongly related to Antigonus family itself; maybe their 'god' lost and his main body was destroyed/imprisoned, but his astral projection was not, although is in rough shape and hidding in that fog. It would be funny because Klein is a believer of the Church of Evernight Goddess, and apparently that goddess was the one who destroyed Antigonus family... Klein may think that he is a free man and achieving so much on his own, but in reality, he's not the one solo-ing the world but vice versa.
It's not spoiler because I have no idea what's next, it's just my guess and I'm curious myself if I'm close or totally not.

Klein is uncovering all the darkness...
Will he be able to decipher and stop it before the IT awakens? or it will be too late?

Watching this episode gave me goosebomb. Klein finally took a step into these coincidence incidents that happening around him. Will they able to stop the tragedy happen? or... not?

The end is near, yet it may also be his new beginning.
