Why does this anime take away the manga fanservice? Do you mind it?

Anyway, didn't you also make a post about this in the last episode's discussion thread topic (the one for episode two)? I truthfully don't see how a few shot and visual changes warrant such a furor. As noted, it's not like they're erasing her from the series, making her ugly, hiding her in a nun's habit or full burqa or anything of the kind loopy like that. Even in the one particular scene you single out as a big problem from toward the end of last episode, if anything I found the camera/audience PoV positioning and what Ruri was wearing (or rather, wasn't wearing) even more revealing rather than less.

So I think you're blowing it out of proportion. I'm going to continue to watch the series, of course, as it's been my favorite of the season thus far and has multiple different things going for it besides just the girls, like the gorgeous natural landscape scenery, mineral and geology facts, and just having a unique topic and focus for an anime series. It's a great model for what Slice of Life can do and excel at.

But as I'm watching it, going forward, I don't expect this to happen, but if I suddenly stop seeing cute and sexy Ruri in a number of attractive framings and poses, then I'll retract my statement of questioning your complaint. But I just don't see the evidence or signs that it's trending that way.
