lol this movie is dumb fun like the first one

batman family the science users versus the justice league the supernatural powers except wonder woman she is always on the side of batman

and batman is right the worst enemy is your friend like him so the justice league aka the yakuza league here is no match since batman with his superior smart brain knows every weakness of the justice league

dark superman is badass though but ye kryptonite is his weakness again

wonder woman is pretty and sexy as ever

Well, that was fun! Could have used joker a bit for innovatively, but otherwise pretty great. Surprisingly harley quinn had huge role.

First movie was alright, kind of weird from what I remember. This movie though, omg, was just stupid fun. And I thought those highlighted yakuza tattooed suits were really cool.

if you're too young to remember... or haven't watched Voltron... the original 1980's English dubbed version of the "Lion Force Voltron", was adapted from the anime series Beast King GoLion. the second season featuring the "Vehicle Team Voltron", was adapted from the unrelated series Armored Fleet Dairugger XV... Alfred's 'Batwing Pheonix' instruction video was entirely inspired by those series... it. was. effing. HILARIOUS!

WonderWoman alt's 'singing solo' was inspired by multiple female enka singers' performances in the 1980's as well. THIS one almost made me laugh as hard as Alfred's instruction video!

i'm glad this movie went 100% digital online with BR quality English dub and Japanese sub on March 18th... i got to sit down and watch the 1st and 2nd movies in EDub with high-quality 1080p files online. i'd only previously watched a 720p badly ripped and subbed JDUB of Batman Ninja previously.

just like with Batman Ninja, the 'big-bad' of this movie is VERY weak compared to various DC pieces in the past. Ras' appearance in this movie was a surprise for me because... i purposefully DIDN'T watch or look up anything on BMN vs Yakuza League before watching the movie. but Ras sucked. very.. crappy compared to his appearances in Batman The Animated Series. Joker in BMN was much more entertaining AND closer to the DC 'canon'. the concept of multi-dimensional folding was entertaining... but even writing a fictional story... it was entirely and utterly impractical. fun? yes. but keeping my immersion in the story? a flop. overall the entertainment i got outta this movie barely outweighed the 'omg this writing sucks hot sweaty donkey bawlz!' it was PRETTY! and awesomely animated! but frankly? Nakashima Kazuki the original author/screenwriter... with my experience in BMN and BMN vs YL... he can NOT write his way out of a wet paper bag. either because he's using DC sources/characters etc. or because he just sucks in and of himself.

English cast? of course i'll miss Kevin Conroy RIP as Bruce... sad to say Mark Hamil has kept his word and hasn't done another Joker since Kevin passed... i know the two were fast friends and Mr. H has said he won't do Mr. J without Kevin in the 'Bat-Seat'... but i do wish he would change his mind. Rodger Craig Smith did a good job with Bruce in these two movies. he has captured a 'sliver' of Kevin's Bruce, and i hope Mr. Smith keeps working on it and continues. Tara Strong continues her excellent Harley! Yuri Lowenthal as Damien Wayne was good, but of course with this pair of movies' writing... expressing that impeccable snotty superiority complex and disdain for the 'previous Robins' Damien is supposed to have? impossible. Yuri just yoinks out a bratty lil boy with disdain for his 'granpa Ras' as an old fart and such in this second movie. for the first movie? ughhh! Yuri did just barely passible even with his experience.

all in all these two movies are fun, pretty, and gag me with a spoon poorly written. you want to watch a Japanese interpretation of DC 'BatFamily' canon? give these movies a shot. but do NOT expect the Warner Bros. Animation division's quality of work... like the older Superman and Batman animated series... or Justice League... or even Young Justice... or the newest My Adventures With Superman... which i find juuuuust baaaarely good enough to watch! these two movies are merely pretty, and that's just about it.
just an ol school American otaku enjoyin the life. don't sass me kiddies, i've been otaku probably since before you were born. leave me in peace and i won't bother you either.

Somehow its even more nonsensical than the first movie. Kept being annoyed by the constant exposition dumps and the characters explaining things about Japanese culture that nobody would say in any normal scene. Take a shot every time they say "Yakuza" and you might have liver poisoning. The way they handled this western property reminds me of the joke anime interpretations in western cartoons, the kind that miss the point of the franchise in question and is just there to be weird for weird sake.

Yes, some of the character redesigns are pretty nice, in that "wanna buy a Japanified version of our Justice League roster as anime statues" type of way (heck even Batman made 3D printed statues of these JL redesigns). We really didnt need an entire movie for whats essentially glorified merch commercial.

that was the most japanophilic thing i have ever seen. i don't think even Japanese people had this level of cultural knowledge.

it was an action fest as it is and all gas and no brakes, I really like it. it was worth the watch. The comedy was fine but could be better.

some sweet popcorn entertainment flick with nothing but the first movie tying it but it was kind of irrelevant to the overall conflict. I do hope kamikaze douga improves their 3D artstyle. it's an acceptable render but they need to keep up with 2025's standards for 3D anime

I enjoyed this movie and the first. For those who haven't seen it, if you love DC Comics and of course anime you'll like these movies. Seeing the Justice League is so refreshing since DC doesn't care about them and only Batman. I do hate that they replaced Roger Craig Smith as Batman when the replacement literally tries to do a Roger Craig Smith imprecision and does a poor job and I hate how the Robins are sidelined this time unlike the last film. I feel like the Robins should've had their own ninja suits like Batman. The villain was only passable, but very forgettable. It should've been the just Joker and Harley Quinn with maybe a iconic villain from each Justice League member unlike the first film doing all the iconic Batman villains and this film having a forgettable villain. I hope we at least get a third and final film to end this off on a great note.

It's just a normal day in Gotham, crime is afoot, and Yakuza members are falling from the sky. Wait...that isn't normal at all.

This movie gave us a Yakuza spin on the Justice League, and it was pretty entertaining watching the bat family combat them. Harley Quinn and Joker even showed up to get a bit of the action too.

The visuals were cool, I liked the sci-fi illusions thing the bat fam had going on, and Ra's al Ghul was a neat villain who did a great job setting the stage. I'd love to see this Batman ninja universe to continue along, as this movie was a delight.

This movie was fun and nonsensical. Lots of cool nods like the old school intro song. I forgot the plot of the first movie, so was confused when they went right to it.

I truly don't get how such an art could get such hate.

The animation might not be for everybody but the style was incredible! I loved it. Superman never looked more badass.

Certainly the story is "random bs". But the movie is fun, very high quality and cool characters. I loved it and I can't see why you don't (besides of hate)

Pretty sure I wrote a long reply in this thread yesterday right after watching it, not sure what happened to that. I don't think I was all that sleepy... Don't feel like writing all that again. Sadge.

I had fun.

Thought I might as well post the moments that made me laugh.

I'm watching anime since 2012. I also play games, sometimes.

Don't bother me if you want to 'become friends' or things like that.
It's tiresome. I know you just want to collect some meaningless numbers.

Crazy, stupid fun, just like the first one! I'd love to see more, but I feel like they may have run out of fun things to do, so I'm fine if they leave it as a duology.

Hard to believe how many people came into this thinking this would be some serious thing and are lobbing critiques at it. Just turn off your brain and have fun!
