| No, not really. Trolling is the act of disrupting a community by being disingenuous trying to make people angry purely for that reason, not merely having a sense of humour or expressing an opinion. I find it not the most useful term because it is applied completely arbitrarily. I would if anything rather there be a rule against bad faith arguments where you assume the worst interpretation of what someone says because it leads to an escalation of conflict. Not that that doesnt also have some difficulty identifying but not as bad as "trolling" is being used. |

| What is trolling is decided on a case by case basis, if a thread does not lead to a normal discussion and is only created to incite a heated discussion and the creator intends this from the start because it is obvious how the thread will end it is trolling whether sexual innuendo or not. |
