Thats just odd Oh well, a nice epilogue OVA a decade later, ever since the anime ended in late March 2015. It gives me hope that some of the animes I enjoyed over a decade ago will also get a nice epilogue OVA/special episode. |

Oh well, a nice epilogue OVA a decade later, ever since the anime ended in late March 2015.
It gives me hope that some of the animes I enjoyed over a decade ago will also get a nice epilogue OVA/special episode.

| @oooo3333 It's 24.5 because it's gonna be based on Extra day event they had hosted sometime after the anime ended. People were pretty sad about Slaine's unhappy ending, so I guess the event that had some post-finale dialogues and news how the story went after what we saw in 24th episode was done to soothe the fans (and became what is now called 24.5). Basically, if one digs, one can find the info about 24.5 and what's gonna be in it easily. As for 'why' many people are wondering, lol, I'm pretty sure it's because there are still many hardcore fans who have been asking for the OVA or smth at the extent for years. At any memorable AZ date the creators' office still gets many gifts, and that's mainly from fans in Japan. |

| This is a new episode, not a direct rewrite of the ending. So it's possible that they decided to do something like a soft reboot without delving directly into the original content. Or even somehow rewrite it to connect it with a new remake or sequel. This has happened before with some shows, hasn't it? |
