| I would say after. I feel that the movie does some things well, but in order to really appreciate Air that the TV series should be watched first, as it is the straight adaptation of the visual novel whereas the movie takes quite a few liberties with the story. |
| I agree with Meddigo. I also felt like it was easier to enjoy the movie after the series because I was already familiar with the characters, though Your Mileage May Vary. |

| Same as most people here. TV first, movie — after. All reasons already written. But I would add that movie has one thing TV lacked. In movie romantic relations between Misuzu and Yukito are primary thing while TV is more concentrated on drama and mystery. So it would be good addition. |

| I was stubborn and watched the movie first. In the middle, it felt complete then at the end it felt it is missing something. I wasn't satisfied with the ending and felt that the parallel story of Kana Hime was a misdirection. YMMV of course, and you might have a different experience if you watch the series first before the movie. |
