| All the PVs make it look like the animation is going to be really cheap-looking. I typically don't mind whatever animation as long as the story is fine. Calling it in advance, though: good luck reading through a bunch of people complaining about it and calling it bad because of it. |

| The manga is more of a documentary about Okinawan culture and language than a regular romcom. There's a romantic subplot but its buried deep. And I mean real deep. The primary audience are Japanese people on mainland Japan so be ready for large sections of the anime to be about the differences between Tokyo and Okinawa. In tokyo, you wear suits to work. On Okinawa, you wear kariyushi (think Hawaiian shirt) to work. Wow, crazy! In standard Japanese, seiza means to sit on your thighs and hizamazuki means to kneel. On Okinawa, it's the reverse! Crazy! Wow! |
