Must I Watch it?

Is there a place where to get an accurate summary if OVA's/Movie's is part of the Story or just pure filler. Example FMA movie was the ending to the first Anime where as Tokyo Ghoul OVA's was pure filler with no significance to the plot

I dont want to miss vital info/story line in the OVA's, but don't want to make a 70 Episode anime twice as long

If it's a sequel or prequel of the main show, then you should watch it.
If it's a summary then it's redundant.
Else it's optional.

Usually, every sequel is identified in the "Related Anime" section, whether it's a Movie, OVA, Special, or TV.

They already do that here by labeling things as either a sequel or a side story. It can be a little weird since I think some things that are labeled "side story" are still canon to the source material, but it's safe to assume that it won't have any real plot relevance regardless. At least from my experience.

Just skip the summaries.

For OVAs, movies, etc., just watch them.

Or Google the watching order of the anime show you're having trouble with.
