seinen and shonen are terms that refer to demographics (adult men and young boys respectively) and are not genres.

I don't think there is a such thing as Battle Seinen or Battle Shonen it's just a term some fans came up with. One Punch Man is a Action/Comedy Parody of Shonen Manga that is technically a Seinen. Why does it need to have any other term applied to it? Honestly people get way too into what Demo or Genre this or that is when it doesn't matter. All that matters is if you like it or not.
