Man, I can’t help but sympathize with Yura at the end of all of this.

Her famous mother gaslighted her, lied to Yura that her father never gave a shit, even though Onozuka was the one who tried to fight to raise Yura and take over custody. Yukari only cares about being number 1 and wants to suppress Yura from ever being independent and make a living for herself. She is narcissistic and never wants her own daughter to surpass her in anyway, out of spite. Their dynamic hits too close to home for me, so even though Yura’s character is Mary Sue ish with no backbone, I can also see why she is such a meek, unconfident person. Yura was mentally abused all her life and she’s just finally starting to make decisions for herself (even if they’re not the best decisions).

So honestly, I can see why Yura has these strong feelings for Q-Ta and is willing to drop everything for him. She has never felt any sort of love from anybody her entire life.

I just hope that if this series does continue on again, Yura would learn that her father really does love her and they can finally have that father-daughter relationship; and get back on track with her acting career and take her mother down with a fight.
