| While I typically love this kind of story, the "logic" behind several actions really got in the way of my suspension of disbelief. Like, who in their right mind would ever rape someone and threaten the victim with self-incriminating footage? I don't quite regret reading Shounen A, but it's not nearly as polished or believable as I expected. On the flip side, I'm glad to see the author has been doing a significantly better job at this sort of stuff with Ijimeru Aitsu - it does have some morally questionable stuff that may trigger certain kinds of readers, but if that's not much of an issue for you and you happen to be looking for a cathartic story revolving around bullying, it's a pretty good manga imo. |
| I can't explain it clearly, but somehow this whole story felt flat and almost lifeless producing emotion. As interesting as it seems to be, I didn't care much for any of the characters. Part of the problem may be the art for how somewhat plain it is, but most of the characters and scenario's were far too dumb and unrealistic, with the protagonist's weird decisions. It all felt awkward and poorly written. 4/10. My Name Is "Boy A" is a very lame title as well. |

| not so good infact horrible, first few chapters started very promising but it fell flat in the end. main problem was unreasonable simping by boy A, like who in their right mind will continue to protect a girl who is in love with some other senpai. no romance development between the mc and the black hair girl, somehow they just get together in the end for sake of plot. |
