I can't function properly anymore after reading this final chapter. Although a short story, this manga taught me the importance of being a good friend. Yes Yuuya was not able to save Honjou-san from committing suicide, but the feat he was able to achieve was showing her that there are good people in the world and therefore allowing her to live a normal high school life, the one she longed for.

The world is cruel. You cannot save everyone, but you can always be a good person. Excuse me now while I lay in bed and stare at the ceiling.

This would make a great anime film if adapted correctly, perhaps going a bit beyond the source material with more original content.

This was really good! The plot twist was so well hidden.

I am confused about the two protagonists though. Did they drop out of school or are they just about to transfer schools?

The art was really beautiful. I felt I could almost see the bright pink sakura blowing around in the bluish grey winter.

Well, this part is unrelated to the story, but Yuuya looks like Eren from BL doujinshis, and Wakatsuki also looks like a BL character. Which was why I thought this was a BL manga at first. lol. The story even develops like a good BL story would.

They left their old school and applied for correspondence course.

Man it would be good if the authour make it to 12 chapters or so , i feel it was axed and rushed

1. The second year bully guy who always hanged with the main bully, he only got a few panel screen time, after that he just got mentioned, he never have any impact at all on the story, they can delete him from the story and the story will stay the same.

2. They don't show the bully past, it will be good if the authour make 1 chapter story about him, how he become bully, how he bully a girl to commit suicede, then laying her hands on female teacher to the point she quit her job, i mean if you look at him, he have cold and hatred in his eyes, i thought maybe there is a story about why he become a scum like that, like raised in abused family or such, he is not normal bully who bully for fun, laughing or such, he bully with cold expression and hateful eye on it to the point i think he was a psychopath.

3. They did'nt show the girl and the guy who kill the main bully, the authour should make a story a both those two, how they feel mad and angry the main bully destroyed their beloved ones life, the girl little sister was bullid and commit suicede, the guy big sister who was teacher , quiting as teacher and rumoured he got sexualy assaulted, her life was a mess, the story tell us both of them attend same school as the main bully to take revenge, they did'nt show us how they meet, how they planned the revenge, how the revenge go, what's the bully reaction when he meets the girl who say he bullied her little sister to suicede, their reaction when they killed the main bully , the narrative just tell us both went same school, planned their revenge, the main bully attacked the girl when they meet at night, it seems the girl provoked him, they did'nt show us any of the action and only narrative.

it would be interesting if the authour make it for 4 point of view, the mc was bystander, the bullied kid, the main bully, and the two person who take revenge on him.

It was too rushed

i would honestly disagree about it feeling rushed, your points seem to have been an addition of extras but I don't think they would have affected the story significantly. as some say, often knowing more is better than knowing less. i reckon if they ever make a movie out of it they will add a bit more depth like you mentioned

I know the charm of the manga making it as mystery and make the reader think for themself based on their imagination , but i feels like if they explain more like in extras , it would be good.

there is a manga that have same story like this called the golden sheep, the mc was a girl, she was'nt bystander, his childhood friend bullied his other childhood friend, the girl then ran away with the other childhood friend when she found out about the bullying.

then we know why the childhood friend bullied the other childhood , mc also got bullied by her female childhood friend, and they also explain why. It is a good manga, go read it, it was much better than Yagiza No Yuuzin.

The plot twist really caught me off guard. I thought for sure the bullied boy would commit suicide to atone for his sins or whatever. Though I'm happy that he didn't die, but i feel sorry for the girl who died instead. Honestly, this could've been a bit more long but oh well, a good read nevertheless.

An interesting read, and a good one at that, which just makes me more disappointed that this is only 7 chapters. I felt like the author could have done a lot more with the concept and the characters, especially since bullying is such a complex and, for many, relatable, subject. They probably did the best they could do in 7 chapters, but imagine how much more emotional it would have been if the central characters had been more fleshed out, or if at least the subject at hand had been delved into more deeply. Emphasis on the psychological part would have made the manga substantially better.

Just your typical 1 volume manga adaptation of a mystery novel. A self-satisfying read where you get enough information to piece everything together a couple pages into the 3rd chapter and then receive the illusion of feeling smart as the plot unfolds exactly in line with what you expected.

The cute friendship between the MC's and the whole veranda quirk was a lot of fun. Honestly pretty decent character exploration for a 7 chapter manga.
