Not sure why it's not in the news but this movie will be on Netflix on January 16!! Pretty sad that nobody translated it, same for Dragon Quest movie... but yeah, very nice of Netflix to get it!!

Looks cool, I dig it. I never played the game so I'm sure I'll be getting just a quick view of it, but those can be cool from time to time.

Right on, oh cool that's interesting. Googling these characters Yuu etc, I didn't realize they're not from the games.

Yeah, the movie seems to be less magical than the games. They're just from the "normal real world" when the first game had a more fairy-tailish "real world", the 2nd game was set primarily in a fantasy world. So, they're all different!


You're mostly correct in regards to part 2 of ni no kuni, but do keep in mind that the main character you play as was transported into a fantasy world and not originally there in the first place.
