THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
What... The... F*ck... happened in this episode. This is the worst one so far that anyone didn't bother to create a discussion about this unenjoyable & terrible episode. I'm afraid that the last episode would bring the horrible last taste because the first arc was so good to keep me watching the rest of this series as a person who aren't familiar with the manga.

That was quite tragic, but I like the sci-fi aspect! She gave her body to save that other guy, it's sad.

Another strong episode. The music is inspired. The characters are good, Rock is contemptible and self preserving - representing the worst of mankind. While a moopie, a non human entity represents it best. Dr Saruta is a noble character and WOAH -HOW WAS THAT FOR AN OPENING? LITERALLY HEARTBREAKING.

LOVED IT. Masato was decent, but he didn't need to be anything other than decent tbf.

Does it always have to end this way, tragically? Why Tezuka? I'm starting to get really sick of this bird. sometimes he intervenes, sometimes he doesn't, sometimes he propitiates events, other times he is a mere spectator ... It's like he's some kind of scientist, messing around with destiny and all the bad stuff that happens to people.

I get that this scientist, Saruto, and Robita (the tragic human turned robot) are from the Resurrection arc of Episode 6. Supposedly, after being turned into a robot, he ends up 100 years later living on Mars in an idyllic colony. So, how come he ends up destroyed here? Don't they share a universe? Are they just cameos? I'm really overwhelmed 😵
