Ep2 was quite disappointing. Literally NOTHING happened. Musashi being stronger than Ryofu(Lu Bu)!? Tecmo Koei needs to step up their game.

Joking aside, Did anyone ever find out why Horie Yui is not reprising her role as Sonken Chuubo?

Guess she'll be appearing in ep3 if at all, maybe to similar fashion as in Xtreme Xecutor. Chuubo just isn't Chuubo if not voiced by Horie Yui though. Great Guardians was my introduction to Ikkitousen so it's kind of a bummer she isn't reprising the role of the Ikkitousen girl I grew fond of. May not even have that much screen time though so it might not be too bad, at least for me.

Edit: Episode 3 reveals the mystery behind Horie Yui and Sonken Chuubo.

now kan knows her place. thats right shes just an insignificant overhyped loser who cant even beat one crazy chick. as for the fatso and his two sidekicks, i found them peculiarly annoying. still gotta love how ikkitousen doesnt take itself seriously. i couldnt hold my laughter of hakufu crying in revaling poses beside the blind dude. a surreally absurd sight to take in.

Damn that Kan'U. So cool. Any other character in this kind of show would've started muttering away about their pride or something but Kan'U's like "I just gotta protect Gentoku." Way too cool. Annoyingly cool.

This is only 3 episodes? I want more of this tbh. Feels like ecchi these days is too convoluted or tries to do that mass appeal thing; I miss the no-nonsense stuff like this.
