| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was pretty cruel for that acting head to make medicine out of that kid, I was touched by this ep thank goodness Ki saved him. Ki was incredible at the age of 14, yeah he sure was timid and innocent unlike now with that stoic and calm look. I still don't get what was the nightmare though? But it looks like Keika is about jump in to another past memories aka "Nightmare", I'm really interested to what transpired between Ki and Shouken. Hope the next will be better too. |

| Pretty cool backstory of Xi and Zhangxuan, showing corruption inside the household. I wonder what Zhangxuan eventually did to have Xi see him as a traitor. |

| It took the first 10 minutes to realize the long haired boy-dressed-like-a-girl was TAnmoku Ki as a teenager. Because like everything with this show; NOTHING is obvious or explained. So Keika is watching flashbacks of his past now... okay. Maybe it's been too long since I watched the last episode... That Shouken guy is sus but this show is notorious for inconsistent character motivations and random bullshit. The way those pharmacists turned into chibis to protest the family's banning them was random and hilarious. Tanmoku discovering that dude's hidden mushroom and it turning into a little shota boy with hands and feet cut off was disturbing, but he saved the boy and it's so cute this gets 5/5. But then he just dumps him in that old lady's hands... nobody is safe in this show so there will probably be some random scene where he gets sliced in half by someone who laughs and gets mildly scolded for it I suppose. Fuckin' chiname. |
