| Awesome manga, but I prefer the first great volume over the second. I wish someone could elaborate and explain everything from this story though. I'm close to completing all of Kaoru Fujiwara's manga, including Vampire Girl, If You Wanna Break This World and Hoshi no Koimonogatari that's incomplete in translation. She's truly a great talent in her symbolism, compisition, tone of mystery and supernatural or overall development with themes all in a abstract style. Some of her work I love more than others, but admittedly I don't fully comprehend or grasp, but the way in how she tells these stories along with her art is gorgeous. Solid debut manga. I love that she's a consistent great mangaka. My personal top favorite is her latest, Yoru no Sakana. Fetish is easily my second favorite. While the rest would be; Mukashi no Hanashi, Kindai Renai and this one. I look forward to her next work. |
