| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- This looks to be the most ambitions manga in the Puella Magi world, and I'm surprised at how well done this first chapter is. The manga doesn't view Catholicism and magic in a conflicting manner and it looks like religion will not be looked negatively, unlike the anime. I don't know how this will hold out but it looks like nationalism and not religion will be the cause of Tart's eventual demise. The villain made an awesome first impression and I can't wait to see more of her. I was also surprised at how violence this manga is and how willing the magical girls are in using their powers against humans and other magical girls. I honestly feel this is one of the best first chapters I have read in any manga. |

I can't imagine where it'll go in the end. |
