| That Noctowl was like 2x bigger than Ash's. Pretty much Noibat learned to fly. 2nd place s place isn't half bad. Noibat agree, it was still too young. A win wouldn't feel right imo |

| It's great that Ash's Flying types are getting some development or focus. They've mainly been like the 1st capture Pokemon and mostly used for battles. Hawlucha being like a brother to Noibat, gotta love Hawlucha, and Flechinder as well. |

| Hawlucha and Fletchinder teaching Noibat to fly in the beginning was adorable <3 I love the relationship between Hawlucha and Noibat. Noibat really seems to look up to Hawlucha. Ornithal. Lol creative name. Because birds. And he looks just like his Noctowl! Even Bonnie pointed it out lol xD Is it just me, or is Ornithal's Noctowl WAY bigger than Ash's Noctowl? I don't remember it being that big... That disguise Meowth was wearing in the bushes was super familiar...I'm pretty sure he's worn it somewhere before. Sometimes Jessie's disguises have shorter hair, and then when they take the disguises off it's long again xD Maybe she just has A LOT of wigs... When Team Rocket was about to say their motto but got blasted off before they could, I was laughing so hard at that x,D Then they just conveniently ram into Wobbuffet. But at the angle they hit it, they wouldn't have flown off into the sky after that. They would have rolled on the ground...But oh well xD I'm kind of glad that they didn't win for some reason. I'd like to see the looks on Serena/Bonnie/Clemont's faces if they found out what kind of amazing and strong Pokémon he really has. He released his Pidgeot though, so it would have to be Swellow, Staraptor, and maybe his Unfezant or Shiny Noctowl. OR CHARIZARD. If only xD But most of his current team consists of Flying Types now, so it would make sense for him to use the Pokémon he has on hand. Especially since he's teaching Noibat how to fly, and Hawlucha is Noibat's biggest support besides Ash, and if Fletchinder was left out and replaced by, like, Swellow, it would be kinda weird. I wonder if they gave Ash so many Flying Types for this generation because this was the first gen where Sky Trainers were introduced? Also, I think in the manga Serena is a Sky Trainer right? Not that it's necessarily related to Ash's many Flying Types. |

| That was a cool and fun episode. How Ash didn't notice Jessie and James in a balloon next to him I don't know lol. Plus how they couldn't tell Pelliper wasn't real lol. It was funny when Meowth accidentally went in to Jessie and James in the balloon and sent them blasting off lol. I like how when Serena asked what was what Ash was just like "Team Rocket" like it doesn't need explaining lol. I wish Ash had won but Noibat is still small and it was great that he was so close to the winner and Noibat looked so happy when he realised Ash was still proud of him even though he didn't win. |

| A flying type pokemon race, now that's something new.. That is a Giant Noctowl for sure.. it's even bigger than Bonnie :/ even team rocket join the race although not turn out really well for them.. As for the race itself, it's quite intense but at the same time it's hilarious.. at the beginning we saw one of the most pathetic Hydreigon that i've ever seen, wonder who is it's trainer XD XD and i lol'd when Meowth use a frickin rocket to accelerate the Peliper.. so glad that they're out.. In the last round, Noibat and Starly race is entertaining.. i'm not really sure that it can won the race but then again we have to remember that it's a baby so it would feel weird if it won the race.. Overall a fun and entertaining episode.. looking forward to see the next ones.. 5/5 |

It's stated in its debut that Ash's Shiny Noctowl is much smaller (and smarter) than regular Noctowls. The normal ones appear giant because we are used to see the unusual midget of a Noctowl. |

| I was sad seeing Ash's Nobiat lose but I loved seeing how happy and proud of it everyone was. Plus Team Rocket was hilarious and genius this episode especially of their plan to get Nobiat to evolve early. Great episode. |
| An episode that takes advantage of how many flying pokemon Satoshi's had this series. Onbat is growing. Team Rocket was looking sharp, and really funny this one. Poor them, they just wanted to participate. |

| this is the third flying type competition episode in pokemon, there was one in hoenn, sinnoh and now kalos, every one of them being important for developing ash's flying pokemon lol |
