| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mrs. Thernadier seriously infuriates me beyond belief now. Does she even have some simple human decency and dignity? It's so sad how it seems like the reunion between Cosette and her mother is just one step away and yet that step is just too large to take. And then that bishop is leaving to make matters worse. Where is the light at the end of this tunnel? As for Madeleine, I really felt for his internal conflict dealing with the Jean LaJean case and his plight came to life for me. Although I feel that his decision will have consequences that hit both him and Cosette later down the road, I am glad he didn't abandon an innocent man who simply wanted to avoid starvation. |

| Mad respect for Madeleine. It would be truly inhuman to sentence him after such an act of selflessness and how many people he already helped. But guess this won't matter :S It's frustrating to see that Cosettes situation isn't getting better at all. |
